Sunset Station rooms are reasonably spacious. Maid service good and after tipping, great; got loaded with extra towels and shampoo. I think every room has a parking lot view ;-) The pool area is small so that even if your room faces it, it will also face: parking lot. Have stayed there several times. Don't remember one side's view over another.

Wish I did, since only annoying location was a few stories above loading dock and the beeping backup noises started early :-(

Got to agree with Deb jamie, good rooms, nice and spacious, clean and with all the basic amenities. As for the view there really isn't much in it, valley/shops/car park/houses/more houses etc on either side, the strip seems tiny from Sunset, but whatever room you get i reckon you will enjoy yourself , i have never had a bad experience there and i look forward to returning in October.

Cheers
Graham

Sunset Station rooms are very nice for the money. The pool area is small, but that makes it more cozy. They have outdoor concerts there, or at least they did last summer when I was there. Not sure if they are still doing that at this time.

The casino is AWESOME. The bar in the middle of the casino floor has really nice decor and the price for drinks is very reasonable. They have good table games, including a BJ game that has some nice perks for the player...I don't remember what they were, but i know I never win at BJ and I won a couple hundred 3 different times the last time I went out to Vegas. I am going tomorrow for a week, and we are staying at Rio, but we'll always make our way over to Sunset Station.
