MGM Grand 5/15 - 5/18. Live?

Heading to the airport in 60 minutes...

Flying Southwest Air to Vegas, where I have a 2 bedroom Marquee suite at MGM Grand. We also have two additional executive suites, for a total of 7 people in our party. Six of us a Vegas veterans, but we are bringing one Vegas virgin with is. My host has been generous with up front comps: Marqee Suite & two Cabana days comped, plus $300/day in resort credit. The two additional suites are at casino rate. Cabanas include $600/day in F&B.

We keep the pre-planning relatively light:
  • Dinner tonight at Lotus of Siam.
  • Cabana reserved for Friday and Saturday
  • I am playing in an invite/comp poker tournament at Mandalay Bay on Saturday. This is a Tiger Jam event, and we will get a photo op with Tiger at the start of the day. 40 players; $150K winner take all (promo chips).
I hope to post pictures and updates throughout my trip, but I know the success rate on live trip reports is low....
 
Easy trip to airport - Denver International. I love this airport. The new connected hotel is going to be nice.

Looks like the flight is now delayed about 20 minutes - but the plane is here now, so we should be good now.
 
Wheels down - on the runway. 26 minutes late, but here! VEGAS!
 
Love the pics of DIA. That's my airport too. Always happy to be there, especially when headed to LAS!! Excited to read the rest! :beer:

Just using the built in tapatalk photo option. I practiced before the trip - see new sticky post for testing tapatalk in Misc Vegas section/forum
 
This is going to be great; love live trip reports, especially with photos. Room is amazing! Keep the reports coming please!
