Show your Spirit airline ticker within 24 hours of arrival and get $50 free slot play at "The D". :banana:Of course I did not see or read the fine print and did not get my $50 free play since I got there on my third day so no free play for me. :bang: Good Luck fellow frugal players.

Any other airlines qualify? I'll be flying Southwest.

Looks like it is Spirit Airlines only and it is valid until Feb 28, 2013.

WOW. I hadn't heard about this, so I'm very excited to find out.

We're flying Spirit first thing Monday morning and had planned on hitting The D at some point so we'll make sure it's within the first 24 hours!

Thanks for the reminder. Flying Spirit for my December trip. Wasn't going to head downtown this trip, but this gives me a good reason.

    Thanks for this post!

I booked a flight on Spirit when they announced their offering of direct flights to/from Houston a couple of months ago for CES in January. The D sent me comps for a Corner Room for my first two nights. What the hell is a "Corner Room"?

I already have freeplay included on this deal, so I'll see if I can snag this offer too!

Is there a web site where the "fine print" is listed?

I will be arriving after midnight on a red-eye and will probably be in less than optimal condition (drunk) to skilfully negotiate additional comps.

So we did the promo on Wednesday. Was a breeze to sign up and and not really much fine print. Most of the machines accepted the promo or you could choose to use it for table games... Had to choose one or the other.
We played the simple older games due to hearing that the fancy new machines are tighter. Well, we burnt through half of our amount and then decided to try The Hangover and Sex and the City and we ended up cashing out $150 between us from those two. We did a $10 promo at another casino downtown and made $50 off of Sex and the City again!! We were pretty excited...
The strategy we used was that everytime we won at least $10 on a bonus round or something we would cash that out and the promo cash would still be in the machine so we just kept doing that.
