We have eaten at most of the better buffets in Vegas. We have to cash in our last few myvegas points. Both of these buffets are similar in points. We enoy both casinos about the same but have not tried their buffets for breakfast.

Has anyone been to both that can share their opinion?

    Thank you.

Mandalay Bay has a really good breakfast buffet, it is also very underrated.

I was satisfied with the MB buffet. It had frozen yogurt with real (hot) butterscotch topping. Not sure about MGM. I would go with whatever is closer/easier for you to get too. MGM was way too big for me. i wouldn't go back.

I haven't been to either but I was "researching" the same thing. What I've discovered is most people think the MB buffet is "meh," fine, certainly nothing special but it's got consistent buffet food quality, it's clean and has a reasonable selection.

For MGM I've read that their lunch and dinner are pretty bad but that the breakfast is much better. Specifically people like the champagne brunch (starting at 10:00 I believe) saying they have good food and a good selection. Lunch and dinner though they say it's got some pretty bad selections and the food isn't very good.

Given my "research" I'll be getting the MGM Champagne Brunch buffet and skip the Mandalay Bay one this trip. If you aren't staying at the Trop, Luxor, MB or New York New York, I think you've already got a reason to go for MGM over MB.
