Ok - after my nap this morning I started to feel that tickle in my throat that signaled I'm getting sick. Throughout the day it became clear that I'm coming down with a sore throat.
Not much I can do about it. Just have to carry on.
So this morning I headed over to TI to play some BJ. As usual, TI was dead. Their BJ tables were down to $5. Bought in for $100. It was rough from the start. To make matters worse, the dealer was so damn annoying. I wanted to punch him. He thought he was the shit. Kept making sarcastic jokes and dealing really slow to increase the tension. Several times I told him to hurry up and just DEAL. Lost $50 and couldn't take him any more so I moved to a $10 DD table. Made my $50 back and got the hell outta there.
Walked down to the Bellagio. Had a great BJ session. Good table - everyone played correctly. Friendly people. Made $150.
Walked down to NYNY and had a slice of pizza. It was good.
Headed back to my room and took a little nap. By this point the tickle in my throat was becoming a full blown sore throat. So I walked to Walgreens and bought some DayQuil and NyQuil.
Wasn't that hungry for dinner. But I had a MyVegas buffet for Cravings at The Mirage so I headed down there. Thank god they had chicken noodle soup. And it was really good too. My dinner consisted of three big bowls of soup, some cheese and crackers, and a bunch of gelato. They basically got rid of servers there and drinks are self serve now. So I drank a bunch of cranberry juice for my throat.
Then I went and played BJ at Harrahs. No good - lost $100. I am officially putting Harrahs on my list of "unlucky casinos." Some casinos just kill me every time no matter what (MGM, Aria, Cosmo, & Wynn). Add Harrahs to that list.
Went to Margaritaville and played Pai Gow Poker. Lost $35. It wasn't my night for gambling, but my Bellagio win earlier makes me even for the day.
Then it was time for LOVE. My ticket was from MyVegas and my seat was perfect. A few rows behind the "golden circle." I really liked it, loved all the songs they used. The only other Cirque show I've seen is O, and it's hard to compare the two cause they're so different. But I enjoyed both.
And now I'm back in my room about to pass out into a NyQuil coma.
Tomorrow: my birthday! And I have no clue what I'm doing for it.
