D Johnson was hosed

that is utter bunk.

Where was the bunker rake? How come other caddies had not raked that "trap?"

How come the audience was allowed to STAND in the bunker all fricking week long?

I would be ticked off. My game would be so wrong for around three months until I finally calmed down from being bent over the lip of a fake sand trap.

thanks jinx for clarifying for him, i shoulda photoshopped in PGa instead of masters! but winning $13K is rarely referred to as a dick punch.
 
It coulda been worse, you could have had Johnson at 60 - 1 and

1) watch him choke it away on 18 and then
2) get DQ'd from the playoff

whole thing reminded me of the Jean Van de Velde choke in the Open a few years back....................... twice now Johnson has choked a major on the last day this year

i don't know if you could call what johnson did a choke. it was a rule that was clearly stated, but when you have folks crowding around you and standing in the dirt, it's hard to qualify that as a bunker.

Before he was assessed the penalty, he yipped a 7 footer on 18 for the win.

I suppose that would have been even worse. Win and then have it taken away.
 
Gee, so true, if he made that putt

he would have celebrated like he won.

Then what would the PGA have done? Would they have handed him the cup then take it back? PGA avoided a mess.

After listening to the talk, I guess it was posted about these sand traps but still, the PUBLIC GALLERY should NOT be allowed to be in them.

Otherwise, let's just let the gallery walk all over the course and greens during all game play from now on.

I still think the PGA absolutely robbed Dustin of a chance.
 
I probably would have thoughtt he fix was in except for the fact id have had Kaymer as well. I guess if nothing else it justifies my golf picks having 2 60-1 shots perform so well in the majors. that rule is crappy but it was clearly stated and emphasized for just thae reason of avoiding a grey area. all sand on te course is a bunker. end of story. it was a choke not to know the rule by dj as well as the announcers.

still if DJ was a "choker" he woulda choked that 3rd shot from the rough or chunked the 2nd. He is just a crappy putter. he missed a lot of 4 footers on fri and sat. he does have a sweet short game from around the greens though to complement that bombing freashow swing.

I have a sneaking suspicion my digs are going to improve midweek when i upgrade from the Bloomington, MN Homewood Suites across the street from Mall Of America to the Executive Suite at the Las Vegas Mandarin Oriental. In related news collin enjoyed mandarin oranges at TGIF last night while I tried to keep sweat on the brow of the bartender.

asleep by 2am but up inj time for 6 hrs of shopping followed by an hour and a half in the pool with a chlorine content that leaves your skin feeling like youve been in the deseet for weeks.

Keeping the local economy going with lots of shopping.

yeah there mine, allegedly. damn bold kids, good looking though. and as they say it eeeezzz far better than to look good than to feel good my friends. Nothing tastes better than skinny feels. etc etc. Ah hell give me another of those leftover Homewood suites meatloaf sicles. AAarrrrgggg!

home early from MOA, decided to skip the last night there as the room was getting a little "gamey" after lauren decided to stick up the do not disturb sign while we were out.

turned out we would have been better to stay as Seany bookended the trip nicely with another projectile vomiting episode in the car. should be good training for what I'll deal with from the Canadians this weekend!

Good to be home and the night driving was MUCH faster.

I think you rather be chasing *the big win* than 3 kids thru a mall , bless you for cleaning up on aisle 6 , 7, 8... lol
