Well, after much waiting, my Monte Carlo August "Feel Rich" offer has shown up on Mlife today.

It's more like a "Feel Miffed" offer though. Down from 3 nights in a suite with $100 free play to 2 nights in a room with no freeplay.

I know that Fall is busier than Summer, but the offers have been noticeably worse month by month since MyVegas started.

I believe the last 2 offers I used were over generous for my play, but I'd have expected that to have worked itself out immediately rather than over a period of months.

Still, 2 nights free is better than none and I can at least let the board know that some offers for Fall are starting to come in.

Although your offers are not what you want at least you got one. I'm still waiting unfortunately.

The corporate Mlife Summer offer is valid until August 30th, so I think when that expires the true Fall offer should come through.

If it's any consolation I don't get offers from any other casinos either.

Yeah my timing may just be bad. All my summer offers expire 8/30
My trip is Sept 8.Usually July has been when I get the fall offers.
I'll wait a couple more weeks and then call the host if nothing shows.

Just check before your trip. If an offer pops up that's better than what you have booked, just call them up and they'll add/adjust any FP F&B or comp rooms you may have.

I also haven't received any corporate fall offers yet. I have my usual 4 nights comped at Mirage, but no FP or F&B on the front end as of now. Hopefully something will show up.

    That what I'm planning.

I really wish I liked Cosmo more.
I stayed there 4 nights for March Madness and I'm getting nice offers every week.
    3 nights in a suite,$500 promo chips,$400 dining credit,2 concert tix.
C'mon MLife get on the stick!!

Nittany1--just curious, why don't you like Cosmo. Have never stayed but I would like to try one of the fountain view rooms w/balcony. I'm a Bellagio fountain nut. But would like to hear more about Cosmo. Thanks

I got the same offer, while I have a standing offer from a MC host for 3 nights in suite + limo.

The moral of the story is left as an exercise for the reader.

Typical offer I have been getting lately. Comped at NYNY and MGM. Was hoping for something from Aria as we gave them quite a bit of play on our last trip.

That's one annoying thing about MGM. I'm a casino hopper, which doesn't bode well for my individual property offers, which means I'm usually waiting on corporate offers, or trying to finagle a good offer out of a host at whatever property I feel like staying at. In this regard CET>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MGM. At CET I can stay in a suite at Caesars, and play exclusively at other CET casinos and they'll love it. MGM you'd be blackballed from that particular property.

Actually it used to be like that but not so much anymore.
I was talking to a couple in May who like to stay at Aria but do most of their play at Bellagio because they like the slots there better.
Their host is at Aria,he takes great care of them, and said he doesn't care where they play as long as it is MLife.
I questioned them about that as that was never the culture there.
They get invites to all the high end stuff while staying at Aria and playing elsewhere.
I thought their host may have been a "national marketing" type but they said it was an Aria inside host.

We are the same, we stay at Luxor and our host has told us she doesn't care where we gamble so long as it's within the group. We don't do well at the Luxor and do much better at Mandalay and MGM so those two get the bulk of our budget.

I doubt vey highly there is any connection there. I don't think MyVegas has any bearing on regular comps and marketing offers.

I hear you, but my host doesn't seem to like dealing with me via email.

I'm in the UK, so by the time I've called once to set up the reservation, and then again to re-request an emailed confirmation it's cheaper and more convenient to pay for the room anyway!

The true moral of my story is I either need a different host or for Mlife to be more consistent with offers.

That's interesting. I've won at MC on both my last trips and was wondering if they wanted me to play somewhere else instead.

I may be guilty of seeing causation where there is only correlation, but I couldn't think of where the budget for MyVegas would come from other than Marketing. I thought that if they spend it on MyVegas they can't spend it somewhere else too.

Thanks to everyone for their input!

I know the majority on this board think Cosmo is great so my answer will not win any popularity contest.
I did a comparison in April of Cosmo vs. Aria where I tried to compare all aspects of the properties.

I had a One Bedroom Terrace fountain view.
I liked the Terrace and the view. Comparing it to the corner suite at Aria I did not like the rest of the room.
No drawers, small bathroom, funky layout of the living room with part of the couch on the same wall as the TV. I spent a total of 30 minutes on the Terrace over 4 days so it turned out to be really not that important.
The housekeeping was awful and actually the worst I had at any hotel in Las Vegas ever!
The casino overall has kind of a closed in,tight quarters, feel to it.

I did like a few things like the proximity to the Strip and the many bars they have.
Finally,it may have been March Madness weekend, but the place was overrun with DBags.

So for me, if I'm getting equal comps at Aria and Cosmo,my personal choice is Aria.

I feel the same way. I have never stayed at Cosmo, but played at their casino. Their casino does not have the feel. It feels more like a "glamorous" scene for the young even though I fall in the "young" category. Aria is modern without that glamorous feel, very comfortable. One thing Cosmo has are hot girls.

Unfortunately Cosmo comps are more aggressive than aria. I play 3x as much at aria and bellagio. But I get 1/3 less comps
