Monty from PLAYSTUDIOS / myVEGAS here.

I just want to make sure that everyone know that using (or publically informing other users about) automation software or bots is against our terms of service.

If you violate our terms of service, your ability to purchase rewards will be removed and any reserved rewards will be cancelled.

Otherwise, enjoy the game! If you have any questions or comments, I'll try to pop in from time to time.

    Regards,
    Monty

Hey Now! I think I will just use Game Feed to collect from now on. Our trip is just less than 90 days after March 1.... I will redeem them between Feb 21 and 28 before the March 1 rule changes...

flysrb, feed collectors are also against our terms but they are must harder for us to detect. Just be aware that if you use them and we detect it, you may lose your ability to purchase rewards.

Also, we'll be making some changes to the amounts that can be collected from feeds so enjoy them while they last!

    Regards,
    Monty

    Hey Now!
I didn't realize that game feeds were against the rules also Monty. I don't want to get shut out, I have spent a fair amount buying chips. I want to play by the rules.

Just want to say, I love the game and the whole idea! I understand it is a business and you guys have to keep tweaking to make it work for everyone! I appreciate that when people express concerns you guys seem to listen and try to adjust! Thank you for the chance to earn free rewards and experience new Vegas properties!

If you don't mind me asking....what would prompt you to buy chips considering the bundles are more expensive than the prizes?

For instance, their most expensive package is $200 and that only comes with 20,000 lps and 600k chips. I don't know about you, but 600K chips is not a lot of chips and highly unlikely they can be recycled to the tune of 100,000 lps. Especially considering theirs a 7500lp cap per day. And the fact that the games have bad odds. Like, the game Lost in Time, you know how many times I've wasted over 100k in chips to get the bonus and then to only earn 4400 chips? Try a lot.
Would't you be better off to call MLife (if you have a players account) or just seek out deals (for free) on the web?

We're going to put a pinch on feeds soon, so don't worry too much. While feed collectors are against our terms, it's not the easiest thing for us to police. Just try not to be too abusive and you'll be fine.

We changed the restocking time to 7AM Pacific. We're still trying to find the right way to stagger restocking so more people have a chance to get good rewards.

Thanks for the kind words and that's exactly what we're doing. We love the idea of introducing people to new and fun things to do in Las Vegas to make their stay more fun and more memorable.

I hope you snag some great rewards and have a blast in Las Vegas!

Lol, Londonlady! Don't worry too much about me, I have really thick skin and I earnestly appreciate the feedback.

I try to be open and honest about the decision we make -- especially the unpopular ones. Sometimes that frustrates and disappoints players, but I always think that you guys would prefer an honest answer to corporate BS.

That's awesome, vegas9094! Keep playing and let me know if you guys have any questions or feedback!

    Regards,
    Monty

I think this game is great. And I already booked a 2 night and 1 night suite at the mirage. And also a 75 Food and beverage and new york new york. I have always been a pretty loyal CET person and had already booked my trip at Planet Hollywood, but just canceled that reservation since I could redeem my 3 nights at mirage. I am completely happy with the new rules of 3 rewards in a 30 day span. You can get hundreds of value from this still and not much all that much if anything if you want. And this game will give me a reason to give the mlife properties a chance again with all my play and dinner reservations.

I hope this game continues long enough also to get a couple rewards for my june trip also.

    Monty,

Thanks for the great game. My wife and I would probably play regardless of the rewards. We are already real money players with hosts/offers at MGM properties. But, what was nice was to get the MB suite from MyVegas-We like the idea of going to Vegas with no pressure to meet expectations of a host for one trip. MB should be happy as we also paid for 4 additional nights.

The 7am change is probably a good one. Being in Los Angeles gave us an unfair advantage. But it still took several nights to get the MB suite award. One bug I have noticed is many of the rewards would say "5 Left" when it was actually sold out. Hopefully you are working on that.

Finally, you will probably notice an entirely different attitude to the MyVegas awards here on VMB. Most here know it takes hours of play WITH REAL MONEY to get a suite at MB or the Tower Suite at Mirage. 3 rewards in 30 days playing MyVegas is awesome! We will continue to support you and MGM as we did last night at NYNY casino :)

Like others, I want to join in wishing you and the rest of the myVEGAS team success, and that you'll be able to find an equilibirium point where the rewards that are given out dont exceed the costs of running the program.

In regards to the latest changes, I hope that you'll give people an in-game warning or something to that effect before locking them out of rewards for using automatic collectors etc. I say this mostly because so many people use them, and might easily not realize that doing so violates the terms of service.

    Wishing you all the best,

    - Boogaloo

I think, you game is great. Ofcourse there are people trying to do fishy things to earn more points, but maybe that's the way it is in Facebook. It happens all the time.

I was using linkclump and just found out yesterday that it is not allowed. I hope I am not in danger of losing any of my LPs because I honestly had no idea. I am now clicking on the links and promise to play by the rules. :peace:

I love the game and have no problem with the new 3 in thirty days rule. I was going to stay downtown this trip but now that I have a free room at the Mirage, I will be staying and playing there. I can't wait!! Thanks so much for this awesome game Monty!

Same here, I was using linkclump on the links and would always get 50k which was the limit. I would click my 50k in about 25 minutes. I'd be upset if my lp were taking away. Probably everyone was doing the same thing. I invested a lot of time into this game as well! Anyways thanks for the clarification Monty.

I believe MyVegas prefers people who were using the feed collectors to do that instead of them having to track players and bringing the hammer down on them for violating the TOS.

I suspect though, someone will end up feeling the full wrath of MyVegas in the end and other players will see that they mean business. :(

MONTY - on chrome if you hold the ctrl button and click the links they open new tabs but you can stay on the current tab, then you can right click to close all the tabs to the right....Is this considered automation? you are clicking the link one at a time and it does go faster than link clump.

thanks for responding to all our questions.

I also use the cntl click method. I pull up my feed and repeatedly hit the end key to load more facebook screens. Once I notice a 12 to 18 hour difference I then go to the top and cntl-click for 3 to 7 links - (closing the tabs after 20-30 are open). I then hit page down then repeat till I am full. I can be pretty quick. Is this ok?

With the redemption limitation, once March 1 comes, might this allow rewards to be re-stocked at increased quantity?
