Default TI Comped rooms charging resort fee?

Does anyone know whether the're charging resort fee for comped rooms? I plan on calling and asking, but typically it's one of those things that reservation operator doesn't always know full story.

I can't speak for comped rooms, but I have an offer/reservation from TI and asked about the fees. I was told that there would not be any, since I made the reservation over the phone.

    Go figure.

When booking through Casino Marketing(either comped completely or casino rate) the resort fee is waived. This is per Ken in CM that I spoke too 2 weeks ago when I booked an offer that was in my player's club acct.

Has anyone done this with casino rate? I really like TI and stayed there on a comp in March with no resort fee, but in the future I see my status going down since I played tables instead of slots. Just trying to see if when I book casino rate if they are tacking on another $20.

The fee is waived on COMP rooms..... You will be paying the resort fee on any casino rate rooms.

thanks all for the updated information, always valuable, turns out TI doesn't have any comped nights for me now, so with the resort fee, there's no way I stay there with better offers elsewhere, but always good information for future trips.

I was just going off of what Ken in CM said to see if anyone followed up with booking a casino rate room though CM and getting the resort fee waived. I knew about Comps but nobody seems to have asked about booking a casino rate room through casino marketing. If no one has tried no worries.

They will tell you to check with the Players Club/VIP Services to have them comped or removed upon check out. Thats usually what I do. You can also make a big stink about not using any of those services. Was at the Mirage and on check out told them I use zero of those free services. They promptly removed them for me.
