    Hi all,

Hoping you can help me choose. Last year I saw MJ One, La Reve, Love and a few others. I will be in town this week and am free Thursday and Friday night so am looking to see a show. Which do you prefer? I am leaning towards Zumanity since I've heard great things but I'm staying at the Aria so may be Zarkana will be better? I'm totally undecided. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

I didn't see Zarkana in Vegas but I saw it in NYC at Radio City Music Hall, before the show went to Vegas. I feel asleep during the show. You'll need to be open minded but I believe Zumanity to be a more more entertaining show.

I say the opposite. Saw Zarkana Friday night and it was great. I know they have tweaked the show to make it better since they were touring.

Was falling asleep during Zarkana as well, but Zumantiy was a riot!. Zumanity is def geared towards adults, no kids.

They tweak the shows every so often. What that said, I've seen Zarkana twice, and I thought the show was better when i first saw it in 2013 vs. a few months ago. I still found it enjoyable (they let you take pictures during the show now), but I believe you'll have more fun seeing Zumanity. It's funny and has some good acrobatics.

If you are allowed to have your camera in the air filming the show, I have no interest in going.

Nothing ruins a good concert or show than having all the smart phones in the air. No thanks.

Saw Zumanity. Fantastic. Definitely adult themed. Get there 20-30 minutes before the show starts, there are some fun things some of the cast does in/with the audience.

Was very disappointed in Zarkana. It's just feels very underwhelming. I had low expectations for Zumanity as I didn't think an adult themed CDS show was going to work well and I was wrong. Ended up loving it! It's a lot of fun and has some great acts.

I saw both during my last trip and thought they were awesome. However, Zumanity JUST announced that Yanis Marshall is their new choreographer so Zumanity will probably be amazing. If you haven't heard of him, search for him on YouTube. Amazing dancer.

Having seen both, I also far preferred Zumanity to Zarkana. Not even close really.

I've seen all the Cirque shows currently on the Strip except the MJ one, and I think Zumanity is by far the most 'fun' one of the bunch in that it's genuinely entertaining.

'O' is a greater spectacle and has superior athleticism/acrobatics on display, but it's very artistic in a kind of sterile way. If I had to pick one Cirque show to recommend, it would probably be 'O' since in many ways I consider it to be the pinnacle of what the company strives for (for good or bad), but Zumanity would be a close second for a having at least a bit more genuine character (and genuine 'characters' among the cast) than most of the other shows which can come off as art exhibits that you're just supposed to admire rather than be entertained by.

Oh, and Zarkana isn't that great in my opinion, probably on the bottom half of Cirque shows - though I saw it close to the opening (I also saw Viva Elvis, also lack luster at the Aria) and I've heard it's been retooled significantly since then.
