We are four Aussies in our 40s and 50s with the one thing in common being a love of theater. Two of us are punters, and one of those prefers sports betting. All love good food and a drink, or several. A mix of gay and straight, but all don't mind seeing how the other half live, if not necessarily actively participating! One vegetarian, three carnivores. One person with dress sense, three with style deficit. Two love thrill rides and theme parks, one ambivalent, one hates them. One first time in the USA, one third time and two have been countless times. You get the picture - essentially it's a packet of mixed nuts.

So here's our plan. Not all boys will do all things - which is why there might appear to be clashes. For example, I would rather stab myself in the head with a fountain pen, than pay to see Britney Spears. The other three blokes disagree.

Sorry... I wrote the dates the way we Aussies write them. That should have been 08/30 to 09/05. I will learn!

I hope you have a great time! Past experience with such a diverse group as you have, once you land, throw the plans out the window.:evillaugh It'll be like trying to herd cats because nothing goes as planned in Vegas.

@Sydney - we'll be the ones with the palest skin, coming as we will be from an Australian winter...

You may want to check, but I don't think Lotus of Siam does the lunch buffet anymore.

@newmans - at the Artisan mate. It was very funny trying to select a hotel, but Tripadvisor sold us as the ratings given to the Artisan were all so low. When we read the comments behind the low ratings, however, it sounded exactly like the seedy place that we needed to be seen at! We all chose it for different reasons: one of us wanted a non-casino hotel so he wouldn't be sucked in to playing BJ in his PJs; another liked the no-kids policy; and yet another liked the tops-optional pool. I think the fourth bloke is just coming along for the ride. As they have parties until 6am, this could all end in tears.
@Sydney - damn, that's bad news, but thanks for the heads up. Nothing worse than wasting time on fruitless endeavours.

You all should check out Liasons at Ballys, is first gay nightclub on the strip, is part of Drais stable of clubs. Or to check out Elton Johns Fizz lounge at Caesars.

@ck - thanks for the info mate. We hadn't heard of Liasons - will definitely check it out. As for Fizz... I reckon we'll end up there at some stage especially if we can find the much talked about two-for-one vouchers!

Americans are among the few who write dates illogically. It cost me my VAT check once. It was dated 03/09 in the English way, and when I tried to cash it after it arrived in late September, the bank said it was out of date. You have too many activities planned, but that's okay as long as you don't feel obligated to do them all.
