Should we waste our time doing the tour? Or just visit and try some of their beers and/or flights?

If you've never done a brewery tour, then Banger's might be a good experience for you since your party will likely be the only folks on the tour and you'll get all your questions answered (likely by the brewmaster himself). If you've done a brewery tour before, then I suggest skipping the tour and gorge yourself with El Jefe instead.

Perfect answer above. I only had a problem with the Black Eye Pea Ale (black IPA), but it doesn't appear to be on the menu at the moment.

Awesome, thank you! We have both done brewery tours, but I am a lot more into GOOD beer than the last time I had a tour, so I might enjoy talking with the brewmaster.

I think their entire beer menu looks great! I look forward to trying them all and yes, I am definitely looking forward to trying the El Jefe!

Please let us know how it is! We're planning on doing the tour next month.

Have you been there? Not trying to knock the place, because they do have good beer, but it is TINY. I kept scratching my head when I read the title of this post, thinking I must have the wrong place. Unless there is a lot more behind the scenes, I cant imagine a "tour" taking very long. I have only ever toured larger breweries and wineries, never even contemplated that Banger would have one.

Nope, it wasn't open when I was there last October and we didn't go downtown in February or May of this year. So I'm just checking it out based on reviews and word of mouth.

I will definitely report back about how it was! It sounds like it may not take that long! Lol

If you're a beer fanatic or brewer then small brewery tours can be fun because you'll frequently tour with the actual brewer.

I was told that at 777 you can get an informal tour.

...heard the tour is short but informative. No free samples. They offer samplers so you pick the brews that you want to try... MK
