How many casinos can you hit in a day? I want to hit the ones in ACG and LVA but figure others have sign up deals too or are cool enough that I want to check out.

My wife and I take 3 Vegas trips each year, staying downtown, and always rent a car. Besides doing coupons at the downtown properties, we often take 3 or 4 coupon road trips, hitting the Gold Coast, Palms, Orleans, Hooters, Ellis Island, Longhorn, Sam's Town, and even the Riviera on our way back downtown. And, if we have time, we'll even go out to the Summerlin area once or twice, and hit the Rampart and the SunCoast.

We spend many hours each day, playing video poker at MSS and the Cal, so the coupon road trips are a nice break away from the machines.

Define "hit". In June, in one day, I was in, in order:
    Downtown Grand
    The D
    The M
    Green Valley Ranch
    Fiesta Henderson
    El Dorado
    Railroad Pass
    Club Fortune
    Jokers Wild
    Longhorn
    Bighorn
    Jerry's Nugget
    Silver Nugget
    Opera House
    Lucky Club
    Fiesta Rancho
    Rampart
    Suncoast
    Red Rock

The total time from when I left DTG to when I arrived at Red Rock was about 7 hours, including lunch. Note that I passed a few others along the way (for example, Texas Station, and the four main Boulder Highway casinos) that I could have entered as well.

However, my visits consisted mainly of (a) park the car, (b) get a player's club card, (c) get a $5 chip, (d) see if the gift shop had any dice, (e) back in the car. Okay, a couple of times (especially at Red Rock), it was (e) leave the casino through a different exit from where I entered, (f) search for the car (which, fortunately for me, was bright red, and also I made it a point to park along the edges of parking lots and/or directly in line with entrances for just such a situation).

I would probably spend a little more time at the casino but that is a good point about the parking. After going so many places it would seem like it might be hard to remember where you parked especially since it wouldn't be my usual vehicle.

When you factor in the rental car, gas, money you are spending per day to actually be in Las Vegas (airfare, any hotel costs), doesn't that put the EV of a coupon run solidly into a negative one? Unless it is just for the adventure.

Part of the fun would be finally getting to the places I have never been. A couple of the 100 coin bonuses on 4oak would go a ways in paying for the rental. Splitting with others would help too. Not sure if we will do it or not. Was thinking about only getting a car for one day.

Do it just to say you have been in that many casinos. It would be a good conversation piece especially if you could take a photo of each outside and make a couple of notes about the casino.
I can see you at a cocktail party being the man on of strip properties!

I would like to try to used as many of my coupons in ACG as possible while we are in Vegas but won't really have time for going too far out of the way. Would also like to take advantage of WIN cards. Does anyone know which casinos do these?

A few years ago, when LVA gambling coupons were more plentiful, I would regularly make rental-car runs to the outlying casinos for some hit-and-run action on those and ACG. Though I felt a twinge of guilt for doing one-and-done, you almost have to for justification on the EV.
Loved it when LVA had $25 MPs. There was also the sense of adventure and exploring places you normally wouldn't solicit.
Haven't been on a run for awhile, as the guilt really did get the best of me. But, the matchplays served their purpose. They turned me into a blackjack player, something I wasn't in the pre-MP era.
A true story - one memorable run, I won 14 straight hands of MP backpack over a 2-day period. Someone late told me the odds of that was something like 30,000-1.
