    Depends on what you play:

    Generic Slot Machines: $3*17,737/10 = $5321

"Specialty" Slot Machines and VP: $10*17,737/10 = $17,737

Table games...some magic formula I do not know.

You also get 25 tier credits for every dollar spent at Mlife properties (room, fees, F&B, spa, etc). That equates to just $710.

That 10% bonus for being Pearl does add up and it becomes 20% at Gold.

Just curious what you want the gold for? It doesnt really have any great benefits.

Just the dedicated check in line make it worth it for me. Sometimes those things are hours long and I just go to my nice short or no line and take 5 minutes and I'm in the room :). Also the 20% express comp multiplier and buffet line skipping are nice extras. I wouldn't play extra just for the sake of getting these extras but it's nice to get them once you get to that level.

I don't know what the coin-in amount needs to be to get you to Gold, but I am a believer of if it is realtively close or if it is attainable without over-stretching your play too much, then go for it!
