I was a little worried from January on my last trip when Cantor was taking over that the balance of my comp dollars were going to turn into vapor. Then, when I called VIP services once Cantor took over, VIP services had no clue on how to contact Cantor Sportsbook. That was NOT reassuring. I wanted to go to Las Vegas but without being able to contact anyone and not sure what my comp account was doing, I just was not going to fly out without some advanced knowledge of the situation. So, today I looked up Cantor in Las Vegas and called the office. Also, I now know that Cantor Fitzgerald is the owner of Cantor Sportsbook. if you all don't know, Cantor Fitzgerald is a brokerage in New York that lost about 33% of its staff on September 11, 2001. The wonderful Kristin in Cantor Las Vegas gave me the Palms manager's Cantor Cell phone number. There are no phones in the Sportsbook from Palms for some business reason. She told me why, but I went into blah blah blah mode. Talking with Dan Garcia, Cantor Sportsbook Manager, he explained to me that all my Sportsbooks dollars went to Club Palms. Now, all I ever needed a Club Palms for was to be in the sysyem. All my comp was handled by the Sportbook over the last eleven years. Club Palms was the slot club as far as I was concerned and the most I ever had on that was probably $100 or so. Maybe a bit more. I read up on Club Palms and find that 400 points = one dollar. So, I was figuring Club Palms would tell me how many points I had. Way back when(2007), I would have had around 10,000,000 points at one time. When they came back and told me in dollars I was relieved. Now, I just have to call up VIP services, and use my Club Palms account(I guess) and I am golden. Reserved for more information after I talk to VIP.
