I don't have a problem with anyplace that promotes the gathering of friends (possibly even family) being open on Christmas. I fully understand that Christmas is "officially" to celebrate the birth of Christ, but don't most of us really use that day or season to celebrate our own families, relationships and friendships? If you're in Vegas with family and or friends... go celebrate it and if you're in Vegas solo, go make some new friends or if you're really lucky... go make some new family.

I suppose the downside to places being open is that the staff on shift are then pulled away from their being able to celebrate with friends and family, but I'd guess that most places aren't as busy as usual and planning the staffing would be able to triage out those who prize staying home from those willing to earn the extra and sometimes premium $$$ from working on the holiday.

more than half the clubs are closed thru the holidays and most wont open. It will mainly club people going out and locals anyways. Xmas is celebrated during the day and most people in Vegas dont have family here. it will actually be a good night to be working.
