Just wondering how do many of you get a great rate for Wynn? About 5 years ago they it seemed that had some awesome promo's but haven't really seen anything that has lured me back to there. I would like to stay there again but also looking for a decent price. Any tips.... thanks in advance!

I don't know of any sites that will give you a discount....

That being said, I think their main site will give a bit of a discount (15%). The only other suggestion I have is what we did 3 years ago - we visited, got a red card and the offers started to come. The investment paid off as we are now at 3 nights comped, 2 buffets and $300.00 in gaming.

You can become a "Wynn insider" https://reservations.wynnlasvegas.com/WynnInsider and, they say, receive a 15% discount.

I stayed at Encore 5 years ago and signed up for their e-mail offers, I've rarely seen a rate below $130 per night since then. I returned to Wynn this month... the room rate was advertised as $139 but after adding tax and the resort fee the cost was $367 for 2 nights.

In 2009 when the economy went in the tank I got a three night stay at Encore through American Express which came out to about $99 a night. You certainly won't get that now, but you may want to try them.

Get the Red Card. My rates used to go $129/$139 a night as a visitor/tourist. Now it is $99/$109/night with a $150 resort credit. Maybe now I am a local? The Wynn Insider is okay not great.

Back in 2009/2010 Encore was giving rooms away because the resort opened at the worst time. Now I am sure Steve Wynn is very happy with Vegas rebounding.

Stayed at the wynn in August2010, mainly to see garth. Cant remember if the duiscount I got was because I had bought a ticket to
his show, or an early booking, but I stayed six nights, the weekend was expensive 250a Night, but week nights were $139.

Just went to their site and couldn't believe the price jump.

Would love to go back, but I guess I would have to look at booking thru one of those Discount vegas hotels sites.

    Any sguggestions?

You can always check smartervegas.com. They often have promo codes and you book directly with the resorts. It may show the same promos available on the the Wynn's website, but it may also have other promos.
