I just booked my trip to Wynn and got a Deluxe Resort room, their most basic. Their was two upgrade options within my budget. One is up to $200 in resort credit for $69.28. That seems like a no brainer. I would get the full $200 for my 5 night stay and I know I'll have at least 1 dinner there plus drinks and a buffet. I'll easily spend more than $200, so it's a money saver unless I'mm missing something. The other upgrade is tougher. For $180.41 I can upgrade to a Deluxe Panoramic King. What am I getting? The room is the same size, I think. Plus the Resort King says that it has strip or golf course views.

Any opinions on the upgrades in general or the Panoramic room specifically.

The Panoramic rooms are just Deluxe Rooms on the top few floors, if I’m not mistaken. Obviously, it’s hard to say whether or not that’s “worth it” to you. I like being up there but I don’t know that I’d pay that much for it. Last month when I was staying at Encore, the check in guy offered me an upgrade to their Panoramic Suite for $20 a night. (Thankfully, he then noticed I was already booked in a Panoramic Suite because I had completely forgotten and already agreed to the fee…long flight, you know how it is.:rolleyes2:) The check in guy did say that it was a “reduced upgrade fee” since I was an invited guest. Coulda been bullshit. But Wynn does seem to take good care of regulars, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the truth.

The Panoramic Corner rooms would probably be worth it, IMO. I believe those are the rooms with windows on two walls. They might be a touch bigger too.

I would agree that the $200 resort credit seems like a no brainer. I can’t imagine not racking up that much in room charges over five days.

Panoramic rooms are the same as the Deluxe Resort rooms, just above the 30th floor. Might be a good idea to be further away from the club noise, but you'll still be able to hear it if you're on the wrong side of the building.

    Thanks!

I don't think the Panoramic room sounds worth the money but I'd do it for $100.
