Are there any Wynn video poker players that can comment on comps? I'd be interested in the game played, coin in, and comps received.

    Thanks

In my experience, Wynn is fairly similar to the other top tier places on the strip. A little tighter than the rest, probably. But not by a crazy amount.

Thanks! We're super micro rollers (I think). Budget it about $200/day for VP and I can't imagine that will conjure up any offers.

What's important is coin in. How much coin in do you do?

We did something like $25K to $30K on a trip and asked for back end comps. They wanted $30K a day action to cover the room.

For that kind of play we were getting one or two free nights and $100 freecredit, that sort of thing.

I doubt your $200 bankroll will generate enough to get some comps but maybe you will get lucky. :) IMHO Wynn is quite a bit tighter with the comps. Same action at T.I. gets us 3 nights, $250 free play, tournaments etc.

For $25k coin-in per day at CET you can get 7* if you make a few trips a year to a CET property...

I am mostly a VP player and have stayed at Wynn a lot.
But $200/day is at the rock bottom of players at Wynn. Don't expect much.

Sounds like $30k/day is the amount necessary for a free room. Thanks for the info.

30K coin-in is what the casino wants. Sometime you can get a free room with less play.

    To bwatson:
With $200 bankroll, you can't generate that much coin-in, unless you are extremely lucky in the very beginning,
such as hit a royal at $.25 and then move up to $1 and hit another royal.

That's more of a downtown bankroll. But even then variance could cut that session real quick if you're a double double bonus fiend. Downtown but playing jacks or bonus might get you something. You can get comps downtown for about $5000 coin in. That's still like 6 to 8 hours of grinding at quarter level. And $200 might not do it accounting for variance.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I didn't anticipate anything back from them at all, was just curious.

We only take one trip a year but with little kids on the horizon (we have a 2-year-old but one on the way) I think this will be the last hoorah for us.

I love playing downtown but I never get a chance to get away by myself. Have received strong offers from The D in the past, but rarely get there anymore.
