Gonna make the Monster Stack my first WSOP event ever this summer. I really like the idea of having more chips to start with and not feel so "rushed". June can't get here fast enough! Anybody else playing this glorious tournament?

So it's basically the main event for cheaper. Nice.

All events have at least 5x starting stacks now, so you should be getting more play early across the board.

Monster stack does sound fun. If I can run at semi decent for the next couple months I was thinking about coming down for either the monster, millionaire maker or colossus.

Although, I'm a terrible tourney player so I'm sure it would just be lighting money on fire.

Plenty of chips, good structure, and 60 minute levels = good times IMO

Off topic here but Shifter you play golf, right? You gonna be in town mid June?

I'm looking to play Shadow Creek or Wynn if you wanna come along. I usually play solo but this trip I'd like to meet some new people

I'm a 4 right now but don't get to play much anymore. I do expect myself to break 80 every time out though

I'm playing in the Monster Stack too. We arrive from the UK on the Friday, so will be entering the Day 1B start on the Saturday. We've already pre-reg'd and wired the cash so we don't have to worry about enormous lines on the Saturday morning. Will probably pick up the tickets on the Friday night. My wife and I are both playing this one, and it will be our first ever taste of a WSOP tourney. I cannot wait to sample the atmosphere of a tournament this size.

I'll be playing it again this year. Last year it was quite the clusterfuck with that many people and only one starting day, but it was a lot of fun. This was also my first WSOP event that I ever played and was very comfortable playing in that type of environment. I made day two and busted out somewhere in the neighborhood 1100-1200 players left. I'm debating now on playing day A or B right now.

If everyone's playing on Saturday I think it would be fun to get together for some drinks on Thursday night or something. I'll be there from 6/10 - 6/17, first two nights at Aria and the last five at Caesar's Palace.

Best of luck to everyone playing. Hopefully we all meet at the final table
    .

And for the record, I have no idea what my handicap is. I may have broke 90 once or twice. My lowest score on 9 holes I think is 41. But the beer is always tasty on the course.

Too bad it will be 13+ hour days. Need some cardio to win that one!
