    Hi all,

So I am currently booked at Ballys with the following itinerary:
    - 4 Night 2 Queen Indigo Deluxe (April 6 - 10)
    - 3 Night 2 Queen Indigo Deluxe (April 7 - 10)

    Total Price: Just under $800

Now, I saw a sale for MGM Grand and Aria for 25% off, making the same Itinerary an extra $600. Do you think it's worth it for me to pay that $600 extra to get Grand Room at the MGM or Deluxe rooms at the Aria? I know it's a lot of coin, but I want to build a relationship with mLife and I'm wondering if keeping staying there would help me earn offers. This reservation alone would jump me up a tier. OR would I be better suited gambling that $600 at an mLife property. Also, can you earn points by eating at mLife restaurants?

    Thanks!

I can't speak to the switch, but a couple years ago I made a reservation at MC through smartervegas.com, and charged all the meals to the room. I did get points for the meals also, but I am not sure if you have to charge them to a room for the credit. The cool part for me was, on check out, the lady behind the counter in the hotel took my measly starter card and gave me back a pearl, after comping 2 nights in the Monaco Suite and taking 3 nights of resort fee off.

That doesn't sound like something CET would do if I keep my current reservation :(

Not unless you give them some play. Not sure what your level or bankroll is but it's always worth a shot to ask. It never hurts to ask.

If it was me, I would keep the reservations that I have and play at the M-Life casinos. Then you can see what M-Life offers you the next time. You can take a chance and stay at Aria (I prefer them to MGM Grand) and see what they're willing to do off the back-end. It doesn't seem like you have much of a discount at Bally's, but it's still $600 better than Aria. The reason why I say that is if you're getting a deal at Bally's, you're not losing much for next time if you don't play at CET.

Well they would if you played enough. Obviously dreric played quite a bit. Nobody's going to upgrade your card level just to be nice.

My first trip to Aria is in 4 weeks so not speaking from experience, but if you consider the switch I would hands down pick Aria over mgm if the price is similar. I have nothing against mgm but Aria is supposed to a better class hotel overall.

Yea, I'm going to do this. Stay at Ballys and do a little bit of gambling but then head to mLife properties to see what I can garner for my next trip. Funny that after I posted this, I found out that CET is providing my friend with a free trip to vegas: Limo ride from his house to the airport, free air fare, free room for four nights, and a ride back to the airport.
