Me and some guy friends are staying at Monte Carlo March 25-27. Our normal hotel is Cosmo, but since the room rates are stupid high those days, we decided to drop a tier or two and stay at MC. Question though: If we decide to do a nice dinner at Cosmo, is it worth it to put the dining points on Identity, even though that's most likely the ONLY money that's going to be spent at Cosmo on the trip? Or will it be detrimental to future comp opportunities?

    I tend to disagree.

1 - The value of those points in marginal. Those points will NOT increase any offers, since offers are tied to your theo, not players card level.

2 - For MOST casinos, any activity on the card is looked at as if you visited their casino. If you do not play, then your theo for that day is ZERO and it MAY get averaged into your overall theo. That is true at CET for sure. Most probably at Mlife. As to Cosmo... who knows for sure?

Bottom line - what is gain? And what is the potential loss?

I would also like to know the answer to this. More specifically, the 2 for 1 buffet option since you have to go to the identity desk for the voucher.

My offers at Cosmo have been getting killed by me dining there with Identity while staying at Planet Hollywood.
