What is the worst room you have stayed in LV?

For me it's a tie between CC Manor room and Westward Ho. Both sucked but were cheap.

Stratosphere Oasis Suite - it was on the bottom floor and practically underground.

I once stayed in that little three-story auxiliary motel that was a part of Imperial Palace when I was in college. Considering the state my dorm room was in at the time, the IP hardly fazed me at all. But by any realistic standard, that portion of the hotel was really a disaster. I stayed in the IP (pre-Quad) other times, and liked it just fine...although by then I had at least upgraded to a deluxe room and once talked my way into a penthouse upgrade. But that old motel thing was just the worst.

Airport Days Inn,it is what it is.

Just needed a place to sleep before an early flight. Bar was interesting ,met some fun people. New Frontier a close second ,if Laughlin counts, room there was really beat, forget the hotel name, looks like a ship.

The room I was given in the older tower at Sahara.
The door linking you to the next room was secured
with a flimsy latch - with one inch of space between
    door + jamb.
Meaning, I could look into the adjoining room !
The furniture was all chipped/stained/beaten .
    I walked back down to Check-in ---
got a room in the Tangiers Tower.
    *
I had a rip in the entire length of floor carpet in
    Caesar's Forum Tower.
Walked back to Check-In - got another room + tower.

Easy. Sahara. I kid you not, the television still had a lever you pulled out to turn it on (early 1980's style!)

God, what was the name of the Motel that used to be next to the Riveria. Back in the early 90's we were roomless for a night and had to spend a night somewhere...I believe we paid $19 for it. we just put our bags in there, and gambled all night!

Hands down The Orleans standard room.

In 1980, I stayed at a motel that was behind the Desert Inn golf course. Not a bad room at all, with a small kitchen, on a budget, it was pretty good.

Later that week, a hooker at the bar in Maxim's described the interior of the room perfectly and even knew exactly the cab fare from Maxim's to the motel.

Thought you might have been thinking of my "worst room ever" - the "luxurious" El Morocco, (or, affectionately known as "the Elmo"!)

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!

The Ho's "garden" rooms were pretty bad. So were the IP's rooms.

Westward Ho - I can't believe we actually stayed but it was a group of us so we stuck it out.

Luxor - A pyramid room. Checked in, turned the AC down, dropped the bags and went to make a dinner reservation. When we returned .......

The a/c had managed to cool the room to a blamy mid 70's after a couple of hours. The bathroom sink totally flooded the bathroom out an inch deep while we were gone. Not to mention we were above one of the clubs and could hear and feel the room vibrate.

Took the Luxor 2 hours but they finally relocated us to a tower room.

The Flamingo entry level room last March.

I pulled the lever to start the shower and it came out of the wall 3 inches. By far the worst Vegas room I have experienced.

In Vegas; Luxor pyramid room in 2006. Carpet was frayed and begging to trip somebody, shower door was broken and just put back to pretend it was fine, cockeyed lampshade, and I probably forgot a few things. The hallways were also pretty gross, there was garbage and room service carts/plates left out the whole 2 days we were there. The pool had mystery floaters and was generally gross. We paid close to full price due to my friend being limited in her dates and being desperate to stay at the Luxor which added insult to injury.

Elsewhere; the motel we stayed at for the tail end of our honeymoon in Niagara Falls. And the hotel we stayed at in Saginaw wen we went shopping at Birch Run.

HAHA! I was having trouble recalling the worst room I've had, and completely forgot that I had stayed in this dump for one night back in 2010 on a layover. The room was dated from the early 80's, complete with console TV, white furniture and lots of pastel floral. For those of you not in the know, this "hotel" is separated from the rest of the hotel/casino and is basically connected to the parking structure. Imagine spending the night in a parking ramp, and that was the room. It smelled of exhaust fumes and parking lot funk, and the room had a giant window that faced out to the ramp, so it was constantly illuminated by the headlights of the cars driving by. On top of this, theres the noise of slamming car doors, engines revving and tires squealing just outside your front door. Delightful.

Other than that, I stayed at the travelodge motel on the strip just south of PH, across from Aria. Room was dingy, and lots of shady types constantly strolling thru the property. But damn if it wasnt the most convenient spot I have ever stayed on the strip. My car was literally right outside my door, and I could be on the strip in 30 seconds, no joke. I bet I could have gotten to the casino floor at PH faster than someone who was actually staying there.
Crappy digs, but it was refreshing to not have to trudge through a casino and wait on an elevator to get to the room. Slummin' has its benefits!

One year on a trip with daughter & son-in-law, hubby & I were staying Sunday-Friday at Paris with the kids staying Sunday-Wednesday. We arrived on Saturday afternoon so needed a room that all 4 of us could share for that 1 nite. Daughter was able to get a room at Flamingo for us. Kind of crazy they gave a Saturday nite only BUT..... the room was horrible. Old, worn & dirty. We actually kept sandals on because we didn't want to walk on the carpet. Luckily the bedding was clean - we even waited until we checked in at Paris at about noon on Sunday to take showers....it was that bad. We were SO HAPPY when we both got into our Red Rooms!!

A few years ago (I think 2010) we checked in after midnight at MGM on a very busy night. They gave us a room right off of the casino floor through a "secret" door, down a dark hallway and up a rickety elevator. It was awful.

My husband and I still refer to this room as our "room in the bowels on MGM". I hope to God they don't rent those out anymore. It was scary!
