This will be my 5th time in Vegas and will be in town from 2/1-2/6 and will have 1.5 days or so by myself. Any ideas what I should do? I'm staying on the strip.

PS- I will be periscoping my whole trip Twitter name - tonelocg

I've played a lot of poker in Vegas, and Planet Hollywood has some good low buy-in tournies that are good value.

Personally when I'm in Vegas alone (have been many times), I tend to walk a lot. Right now, the weather is perfect for long walks, so maybe take one day and do a casino crawl? Always fun to check as many casinos off of the visit list as possible.

Otherwise maybe take trip to Fremont and tool around there some. Just thinking out loud.

Where are you staying? That will help with things like restaurant recommendations. Have fun!

Hookers... lots and lots of hookers!

Seriously though, if you play VP Bar hop casino to casino. Toss $20 have a drink and move on. Or more whatever your BR is.

I swear Wild Thing is playing in my head as I read this...

Mirage is a good spot...a lot to do there and within walking distance. Craps, forum shops, V/P shops, great sportsbook at The Mirage...also they just opened the new center bar there too and it looks like a good spot to chill

There's some great eating within the reach of the Mirage. I love sitting at the bar at Bouchon over at V/P for happy hour and breakfast. Love Joe's at Caesar's. Depends on your budget, but there's really something quality at every price in that area. Bardot Brasserie happy hour still maybe my favorite new thing on the Strip.

Just next door to Mirage is The Forum Shops. Turn right coming out of the Mirage exit close to the Starbucks. Walk south on The Strip. Enter the first door you see to The Forum Shops. Not far inside is Joe's Stone Crabs. Excellent seafood. Bring your credit card. $$$

I think one of the best things about a solo trip is to walk along the Strip and hop from one casino to the next, have a cocktail when the mood strikes you. On my last trip, I took the SDX bus to the Bellagio stop, walked through Cosmo, crossed to Planet Hollywood and walked north to Circus Circus. Lots of stops and many beers.
