Any reason it would be not in my interest to let hosts know of my current offers with each property to see who can offer me the best deal? Not planning on burning bridges, just want to come in to town on the best offer.

I don't see how it could hurt you in the long run. If anything I would think it would get them to compete for your business. Supply and demand right?

I don't know though, I've never had hosts fighting over me lol.

Probably not. Never hurts to ask. I have never tried much of that because the few times I have attempted it, it has not gotten me very far. Every time a host from Venetian reaches out to me, I tell him what mgm and wynn give me each trip and ask V/P to match. That is always the end of the conversation

people do that all the time saying a place will give more than b.

you can piss off your host thats the one big issue.

really depends how big of a whale your are and if they want your action. if you a 100k plus player they wont let you walk if your a few grand they might say take it or go some where else and now you burtn that relationship.

it might a no win situation if the others ofers arent really that much better

A host at CET confirmed my offer at Cosmo. She offered my x in return. In my opinion, it wasn't quite enough. So I very nicely emailed her back and said I would come visit her property for this amount. I don't see anything wrong with that??

she might have not thought you play warant it. nothing wrong with but rember one day you might need a favor from here and she might not go the extra mile. as i said i can be a no win situation.

most host like to think they have your bussines and only your bussiness. they try to establish a realatoship with you.

they know you shop around but you dont have to rub it in there face unless the offer was way much better and your a real high roller who can call his own shots.

cosmo is doing anything to get players in there giving away the kitchen sink cet doesnt have to as vegas is there marque destination

Excellent point, thanks. Also, chips could be more valuable at CET since they aren't one time use only. I'm not deciding what way to go at this moment, I guess I just wanted to know what my options were.

This is something to consider. My most recent offer from Cosmo included more freeplay/promo chips than my offers from Wynn. And Wynn gets about 90% of my action. Cosmo is obviously making a big push to get some gamblers in the front door. If the host is keeping up with things, she'll know that Cosmo offer is probably an outlier.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be trying to get everything you can, though. I'm just saying a recent Cosmo offer might not be quite as much leverage as one from Milf/Wynn/Grazie etc.

I do understand that. My last trip to cosmo though, I had a theo of 15.5k for one night. To me, that warrants the comps I'm asking for at other casinos. I know that i only go to Vegas a few times a year, but my average play is normally about that. Am I crazy to think I deserve more? If I am, please tell me, I need to be put in check!!

as i said there are alot of factors.

To be clear, I would do exactly what you're doing. :nworthy: It's just that Cosmo may inadvertently be screwing you by offering every Tom, Dick and Harry big offers these days.

becuase you did that cosmo means bubkas to cet,if you did that mgm and tried to swith to aria you would have a case as a host can see your play.

this has been talked here alot just becuase you give one place a 100k play the other place wont know you from adam and eve and you didnt give them that play so yes your crazy to think cet would give a crap about your 15,000

all the care about is what youve given them, then you can negotiate:thumbsup:

I think the Cosmo offers are relative. I wouldn't describe them as throwing the kitchen sink at anybody, but its offers are significantly improved when compared to how stingy the offers were for the first year or two. It does work. I will stay at Cosmo instead of Wynn on my next non-mlife trip because they are offering me a lot in promo chips. But let's not create the impression that Cosmo is giving away a ton more than the other casinos. Its just giving away a lot more than Cosmo circa year one

You didn't post the details of the offer but if you're generating a theo of 15.5k a night you shouldn't feel crazy about pushing the envelope with your requests. That's a boatload especially for a BJ player.

And yes the play until you lose chips are worth about twice Cosmo's one bet chips. So you need to factor that in when comparing the offers.

I see nothing wrong with leveraging offers. I do it with promo chips at the local joints over in Louisiana when I go over. One place offers more than the other so I see if the other will match or exceed.

In Vegas I don't have a host but if/when I do and visit multiple properties I would mention it...it doesn't hurt to ask!

Well I've been left off this gravy train I guess. I haven't received jack shit from them. I played there twice, only a short time each but on higher limit VP and maybe around $100 average BJ. I also did the tier match. All I get are useless emails offering to let me buy Bruno Mars tix and stuff like that. As if I didn't know I could do that if I wanted.
