I saw it on some travel shows.

I also remember that the upper deck also had a (I think) 3 lb t bone steak special.

too bad they closed but service was slow there and I guess they didn't have enough foot traffic to keep a restaurant open (funny how the other hotels all have restaurants but not the lvc).

I remember that 9 lb. burger at the Plaza, but I don't remember that you had 24 hours to finish it. I can't imagine it would be very tasty after 3 or 4 or more hours, let alone more than 20 hours.

We used to frequent the Upper Deck at the LVC on every trip ... and it was always full of customers. Why they ever closed it, and moved it downstairs to the "Dugout", I'll never know ... and eventually they had no restaurants at all. Sad ....

What I didnt understand about this article and as Buddha said, it shows the burger being served at the Plaza. I only remember the sandwich being served upstairs at the LVC in the Upper Deck. The Dugout though was long before the Upper deck I believe, after the UD closed they opened a small place downstairs in the old Great moments room I believe, around 08 maybe? I actually remember going up the escalator to the UD and seeing a big advertisement for this sandwich on the wall. Was it also offered at the Plaza? If so, what restaurant was it served at there?

The Plaza had the Barrick burger, and if I'm not mistaken, the only person to finish it was a 120-pound woman.

Hi Jim, that was the burger that you had to eat within 24 hours. That picture was the start of an eating contest. It was not pretty. Check out the guy on the left and his shirt. . . :vomit:

Chef, here's a picture of the girl you are talking about. I think she was even lighter than 120 lbs. She was a real cutie.

I ate at the Upper Deck a couple of times. The food wasn't "great" but was reasonably priced and satisfied the hunger. They had some good deals.

I also miss the restaurant in The Wild Wild West. Anthony Curtis had their burger on his top 10 list. Station Casinos took over the place and put a Denny's in there.

Key Largo also had a decent restaurant with good priced food.

Upper Deck had a really good breakfast of eggs bacon toast and hashed browns that was really good for like $4. I know they served that sandwich up there at one time as well, unless the picture I saw on the escalator going up there was just advertising for the Plaza. Anyone remember what restaurant in the Plaza served it?

It was probably at the original diner that used to be where the HHAGG is now.
