Curious on how they are allotted. Last trip we were given a suite(including weekend). Didn't ask for, or ask why. Wife was happy, as it was our anniversary (no one knew)/ I am sapphire and we get 4 nights, meal book and FP offers monthly(DAAA). Coin in was 25,000 (85,000 for year)in our last 4 days . Will never make emerald. Going back in Oct and Nov comps, split by 3 days at Sams. Probably a slow weekend could be why we got suite.

We are Emerald, offer code B. Get 4 nights and $35 FP. We asked for a gold card for our upcoming trip, they said they could do silver card. I like the King rooms so we haven't asked for, not been offered, a suite. It's supposed to be one of the perks for being Emerald, if a suite is available. But I think the only have around 14, one per floor, and I don't believe the first two floors have rooms plus there is no floor 13. 17-3 = 14.

What do you play? We are mainly JoB VP.

In the last 75 trips or so, we have only been denied a suite twice. And both of those times they said we could move the next day, but there were none available those two Friday nights. Both times I blame our host for forgetting to make our reservation until the last minute. We are Emerald, code B and we always book through our host, never with the mailer.

At one time we were A and got $100 in FP. The suites are nice and roomy and my wife likes it because she doesn't sleep well in Vegas, so she can go in the other room read and watch TV on the 2nd TV w/o disturbing me. It never bothers me :drunk:but the downside is the 14 suites all face both the freeway and the train tracks. We also do get the Gold Card and limo to and from the airport.

As a few people have pointed out, we seem to be treated better than others for the same amount of gambling and I have always wondered if loyalty doesn't play a part in that? MSS opened in 1996 and we have been staying there since 1997. Usually 4-5 trips per year. Also, we have had the same host for the last 10+years or so.

mostly slots, BJ and VP. Yeh one per floor. About size of 2 rooms with 100 sf bathroom with sitting area. Furnishing a miss mash, 2 TV's, king bed. Was a nice surprise. But we are happy with king rooms, and will probably never get the suite again. Probably a slow weekend. At least I know what they look like LOL. We do not have a host, or ask for one.

What is the gold and silver card? Do you get them from the casino host or the B connected desk?

From a host at their discretion. I haven't had a Silver in a while, but when I did the Silver was good for all the Boyd restaurants at MSS & Cal except Redwood and at the time the Pullman. Gold is good everywhere including Fremont at all restaurants. It really is a great perk!

I have no idea what the Noodle House requires. Nothing on that menu interests me.

I agree with Joe's post. Would like to add, we do less coin-in at Sam's Town and get a gold card through the marketing offers. I really hate asking for stuff, so I really appreciate seeing the gold card as part of my online offers (at Sam's Town.)

I an "A" @ Fremont. I made Emerald last September. I visited in December and again in July. I have never seen a suite. In fact, in December they put me in a single queen (the smallest room I have ever had). I did 91k+ coin in this July. I am returning in September and still no hint of anything special. I am thinking it might be time to move on. The only thing Emerald gets me is to the front of the line at the buffet.

If that kind of coin-in is typical, you need to move downtown to MSS or Cal. They'll treat you very well. One other thing Emerald gets you is triple slot points which can be used for food, drink etc.

Did you contact a slot host? Maybe they can do something when they look up your record.

Access to a host is not so easy. Whenever I call, I get stuck on 'perma-hold'. Maybe the hosts are all busy chasing the Hawaiians.

Sam's Town is growing on me too. Lots of game selection and good variety of food choices as well. Friendly gamblers too!

That doesn't sound right at all. I don't track my numbers carefully but I know 91k points should be worth something special.

Phone a different number. Try the main hotel number and ask to speak to a host. You may get put in a different queue. It's worked for me.
