15+ years ago when I first started going to Vegas, you could walk through a very nice white tiger exhibit at the Mirage. No fee or anything, they were on display in a huge glassed-in area. Thinking last I was there, there were no longer tigers in the exhibit. Don't really remember. Recent accounts?

What about the lions at the MGM?

They took that out 10 years ago (2003)
NOW, they charge you $20 for the same thing (at The Secret Garden)
TOTALLY not worth it; if you wanna go, get the free tix from MyVegas.

Are you sure about your time frame? I know that display was there on my first trip (and maybe a few after that) and I don't think I've been going for 10 hears have I?

It's only been about 3 years...maybe 4 years at most since they removed the Tigers and replaced them with the Burger place.

At least you can still see flamingos and other animals for free at The Flamingo.

The Flamingo got rid of the penguins and then the turtles. About the only things left now are big goldfish and birds! Why bother!

Its confusing because the free exhibit moved over the years. They used to be near the secondary strip entrance, then they were moved to next to the front desk, then moved back to the secondary entrance before finally being taken out altogether for Burger Bar.
