My trip is Oct 13-18th and I feel like the days are just standing still. I am booked at Encore and this is my 2nd trip to Vegas. First trip was the honeymoon in may and we stayed at the Wynn so I had discounted rates on the encore rooms. We are planning on doing a Vegas trip once a year from now on and right now the price of Wynn/encore is way to much but we wanted these rooms on trip one. I plan on taking 4k to gamble for both of us so 2k each. The plan is to play on 1 card at what ever casino we go to.

My question is, do I play mostly at Wynn/encore to comp off the food and room prices or is it smarter to just pay most of that and play at Mlife or a CET property to try and get free rooms for later trips?
There is a Harrahs about 4 hours from where I live but I was not a big fan of Harrahs out in Vegas. With CET and Mlife if you play at one casino do you get offers from all of them or just the one you play at?

It's pretty tough to get free rooms at the Wynn, but you should at least get casino rate and some free food with that bankroll, especially if you are playing the machines rather than the table games.

I would just play where you stay. It's a fantastic property, and trying to build up future comps/offers at another property when you're only going once a year is probably not going to pay off. But definitely do visit some other places and see if you'd like to try them out the next time. You can always get comped at the end of your trip.

To answer your question, MGM will send out offers seasonally for all of its properties, and more frequently for the properties where you have significant play.

You are staying at one of the higher end properties. And, as said, once a year is gonna be tough.

Put a little through at any CET and you will have free room offers. MGM is a bit tighter.

All depends on where you want to stay next year. At that level, I doubt you will ever get free room offers from Wynn, but you will get a casino rate.

If you're looking to play enough somewhere to get some free room offers for next year, either try an independent property (like TI across the street) or try a lower tier CET or MGM property

with that bankroll, you won't get much at Wynncore unless you go on a heater. but the key is to play somewhere you actually want the comps. does you no good to play at Bally's no matter how great the comps you get if you'd never stay there in a million years.

I have never had any problem getting free rooms and free play at Wynn. I have played on other peoples cards and they also have recieved the same offers with less than two hours of play. I mostly play Steve Wynns Megabucks slot. It is only a $3 bet and alot of fun.

Don't think you have to donate alot of money. All you have to do is recyle their money. I never have a big bankroll but I am lucky. I also play very fast. It seems to me Las Vegas likes that because my comps are good everywhere I go. Play where you want to stay.

There's no trick there. The Megabucks slot has one of the highest house edges of any game. And you say you play it fast at max bet. Your hourly theoretical loss would be higher than a $500/hand blackjack player. Plus your losses would be more consistent than the BJ player so it's even more attractive to the casino.
