    Hello everyone,

my last trip to Vegas earlier this month I started playing at Mlife properties and with play and hotel reservations and expenses I made Pearl. I don't see any offer yet other than the discounted rooms.

I am a CET girl (platinum) and I can get comped rooms at lower tier hotels on weekdays most of the time. Reading the board I understand that CET and Mlife do things differently when it comes to comps.

I was playing at both Aria (where I was staying) and MGM. I play slots only and I didn't play a lot. Since I understand that you have to play at one Mlife hotel only to have a better chance of getting good offers, my question is: which Mlife hotel is easier to get comped (for a low roller slot player like me). I'm ok with most of the mlife hotels except Luxor and Excalibur :vomit:

I know there has been some discussion on the board recently about this, but it is not accurate. I am guessing from what you have written that you are a lower roller. if that is the case, then it doesn't matter which mlife property you play at. You will generate corporate offers based on your total play across their properties. It takes a cycle for the corporate offers to start coming in, but you should receive some in the coming months (and after Excalibur and Luxor, NYNY and Monte Carlo are considered their next two lowest tiered properties, so you can probably expect your best corporate offers from them).

In addition to corporate offers, the individual MGM properties also send out offers to players. Those offers are based solely on your play at those properties and they don't really consider your play at other mlife properties. But your play across the board will generate offers from corporate. a lot of the recent discussion around here centered on players wanting to maximize those property specific offers.

Hope that helps clarify things a bit

Thank you UK fanatic! Yes I'm a low roller and debating if I should even split my low bankroll between CET and Mlife. After my stay at Aria I have to say that I love the place and Mlife does have better hotels. The only hotel I really like with CET is Ceasars but I can never get it comped anyway :)

So you're saying that if I play at Aria and won't get anything from them because of my low bankroll, I would still get maybe comp offers for Montecarlo or NYNY?

Concentrate your play at Aria and you will see some offers from them. If you gef a com to one of the other properties uss it and concentrate all of your play at Aria. Thus should generate some offers from Aria.

This is really a pecking order question. The MGM pecking order is:
    Bellagio
    Aria
    Mandalay Bay
    Mirage
    MGM Grand
    Monte Carlo
    NYNY
    Luxor
    Excalibur

Thanks everyone I appreciate all the help!!!! I'm new with Mlife :) I guess I've been spoiled with CET, for my level of play ($500/600 on a two day trip all in slots) I get comp rooms most of the time.

I just wanted to try something new but if it's not possible to get any comp offers for my level of play at Mlife then I guess I'll stick with CET and just pay when I want something nicer.

Thanks again for your advice. Although I go to Vegas every month, I'm still kind of new with players cards and comp offers.

Even at that level, if you concentrate your play on a monthly basis at Aria, you will see some offera

Daniela, I play almost no slots, but I agree with the others, at that level, you are unlikely to get comped rooms at Aria. You should get corporate offers with the discounted casino rate, but not comped.

If your goal is to get a comped room at an mlife property, I would suggest playing at Monte Carlo. It's just above Luxor in the MGM pecking order, you might have a chance at a free room, and it is connected to Aria if you're wanting to spend time over there

Seems like the topic of CET and MGM pecking order comes up at least once a year on here. Generally, I agree with this order, except MGM Grand rates ahead of MB and Mirage. As for the question about Circus Circus, I think most people leave it out since (I think) it still is not part of the mlife program. But it is on par with Excalibur

    i agree about circuc circus

i think mlife treat mb - mirage and mgm as the same level and interchangeable in my opinion, there all on the same par just differnt people like one over the other.

i think once the new arena and the park is built monte carlo will become a harder comp and ny ny will also be and there rates will rise as events come in

I wasn't expecting a comp room at Aria with my level of play, one can dream but let's be realistic if I don't get Ceasars at my level, why should I get Aria :)

By what you are saying I just have a feeling it's harder to get anything but discounted rates at my level with Mlife. I wouldn't mind trying Montecarlo or NYNY for a change so maybe I'll play there on my next trip at the end of the month and see what happens. I already have pretty good rates for those two hotels on mlife online, I guess I was hoping for something more. Thanks again :)

    Mirage!
Just got two nights comped with $150 in freeplay and $50 resort credit, from my last trip in June.

I basically agree with this, they are roughly the same. When I think of the millions of times I've looked up rack rates for the same dates, of the three, MGM usually has a basic room at the lowest price, then Mirage, then MB, that's why I ranked them that way

How much and what did you play if you don't mind sharing. I'm staying on a comp at Harrah's at the end of the month so the Mirage would be convenient :)

conetract all ur play at one off the 2 i personaly would do ny ny as its a lower tier than monte carlo, u never know you might get a teaser comp ,but pick one and stick with it at mlife.dont spread out ur play u dont have enough.good luck

im sure u know at ur play level for free rooms cet is your best bet, if your flexable on dates u will get ceasars , its just weekdays and very seldom but they do pop up.

now with the quad being redone and bally jubilie rooms , i woudnt give up on free cet rooms , they working on redoing the rooms at most places .

staying at flaminigo or ny ny is wash its no difrence

Definitely. All three are in the same tier. But the company ranks MGM Grand ahead of the other two. I should have clarified

Yes you are right, CET is very generous with low roller like me!!!! During my birthday trip earlier this month I had a comp Jubilee room at Bally's and it was really nice, even if the noise coming from the Bellaggio fountains and the strip was a bit too much. After the first night there I moved to Aria to celebrate in style :) I guess I was just blown away by Aria, I'm sure it helped that I was in a Penthouse sky suite :nworthy:

You are also right that NYNY and Montecarlo are comparable to Harrah's, Bally's, Flamingo. I just like variety, that' why I was playing with the idea of spreading my play and see what happens. But after what you guys said I might reconsider and just give all my little bankroll to CET.
