I got a big giftcard for "Landry's Inc" restaurants, and want to use it during our Vegas trip in December.

    Trevi

    McCormick & Schmick's - Las Vegas

    Rainforest Cafe - Las Vegas

Mastro's Ocean Club - Las Vegas

Claim Jumper - Las Vegas (Town Square)

The Golden Nugget downtown is owned by Landry's so lots of good choices there including Vic & Anthony's and Chart House.

I'd go to Vics. Solid steakhouse. I like steak. We have Chart Houses near home so no appeal there to hit that up on vacation.

The McCormick And Schmucks by my house has a pretty good happy hour. I like going there on the company dime when we had the mentor program and I'd take the newbies there.

I personally recommend Chart House at GN. Very good seafood and service.

I ate at Vic and Anthony's in AC and found the food just okay. Steak under cooked, slow service post dinner rush, etc

We went to Vic and Anthony's this month and we really enjoyed it. We tried their tasting menu for $49.99 and had a 3 course meal. The waiter informed us that the portions would be normal portions served off the regular menu. You could choose from salmon, filet mignon, or shrimp scampi. The filet was excellent and the chocolate mousse cake was light, but a great chocolate dessert.

My favorites are McCormick and Schmick and Chart House. If I'm in the mood for red meat, I really like Morton's. I've been meaning to try the 49.99 special at Vic and Anthony's, though. Maybe next month...

Thanks for the advice. I think I've narrowed it down to Chart House or Vic & Anthony's. Its going to be a dinner for two, with the wife. Which is better for a date?
