Trying to decide which Cirque show to watch, options are:

    Love
    Mystere
    Zarkana

What do you guys think? I have only seen the Zumanity one and thought it was "ok", first half was a bit boring IMO.

Mystere is one of my favorites. ClassicCirque. Lots of amazing acrobatics (my favorite part of a Cirque show).

Love has great music and costumes, but it's low on my list due to a major lack of acrobatics.

I haven't seen Zarkana yet, because I hear it needs improving (lots of waiting between acts, etc).

    I'd recommend Mystere.

Mystere was my first Cirque show (at the time, it was the only Cirque show in Vegas), so I have strong nostalgic affection for it. Having seen all the rest since then and returned to Mystere a time or two as well, I think it's still one of the best in terms of acrobatics and staging. It's the most like an actual circus, in my opinion. Just don't expect a storyline.

Of the others, Love is definitely better than Zarkana. It's the favorite of several of my baby boomer friends who are Beatles fanatics.

I've seen many Cirque shows and Mystere is my favorite. Granted, it was my first, and my brother-in-law refused to play along so I ended up "Papa" but my bias aside the show is as pure acrobatics as Cirque gets.

i don't want to tell you anything about the show since i don't want you ruined by too much details other than their preview. but mystere not only gets my vote, it's also one of the best, if not the best, cirque shows in vegas. you won't be disappointed.

I agree on mystere. Love only for Beatles fans, not enough action in my opinion.

Zumanity is not a good "view" of Cirq shows. Okay, but not great.

Mystere or Love would both be great. So would "O".

Been to LOVE 6 times - guess which one we like?

Mystere, KA, Mystere and "O" - once each.

We love LOVE, of course we are huge Beatles fans.
I'm in the minority, but both my kids fell asleep at Mystere.......they were 15 and 11 at the time. Called it super boring.
My wife and I agreed that it wasn't near as good as we expected.

I never saw Zarkana. I would choose Mystere on your list. I give Mystere a B+ and Love a C-. Mystere is much more typical cirque with all the acrobatics. I liked the music in Love but there is very little cirque type acrobatics. It just seemed like a lot of people dancing badly on stage for much of the time. I had high hopes and left greatly disappointed.

Take my review with a grain of salt....most people love LOVE.

We've seen LOVE twice now, O and Le Reve (though not really a cirq show) and Love was one of our favorite shows. I think Le Reve was better than O but thats my personal opinion.

What really surprised me and for sure is not a Cirque show was the burlesque show at MGM - just really entertaining - more so then watching topless women dancing around haha.

Like always, got some solid feedback from everyone in this forum. Had to make some last minute changes to my trip (switched from Plaza to Tropicana) but I ended up picking...(drum roll)...Mystere! Was able to get tickets at a discount through Living Social and a previous post from GregRio helped me picking out what I think are some pretty good seats in Section 203 Row JJ.

Thanks again to everyone who replied to this post!
