I'm thinking of moving some of my play away from CET. I am predominantly a craps player. I sprinkle in a bit of slot play as well.
90% craps vs 10% slots. I'm 7 Stars with CET and thinking about moving half of my play elsewhere. CET offers are disappointing and there is no understanding how the offers are made. In the past, I was always under the impression that ADT drives offers, but I don't think that is the sole basis that offers are made.

I am fully comped on the back end and don't want to give that up.

    Any input would be appreciated.

CET is notoriously bad for table players. MGM is good for mid-rollers, black chip blackjack and green chip craps players. If you're looking for a change, Tropicana is fairly generous for table players.

I find CET is really good for the low level players to get comped rooms CET to me is better in AC than LV.
But I prefer the smaller corps. In AC I am full RFB at Taj Mahal as a 50$ BJ player and in LV its Boyd gaming I am VERY well treated playing the same. ( except at SamsTown lol )

Are any of the programs good for table players? I don't mean that sarcastically, but honestly. Although I would classify myself as a craps player as well, in recent trips I've found myself playing more Video Poker and some slots with my wife just to capture my play and ensure continuing comps (*and loyalty levels). I also play a fair amount at the craps machines, even though its not the real thing, at least then I know my play is being accurately recorded.

When I do play real craps, I do very little at V/P, because I've seen little benefit from it. I normally walk down to O'Sheas or Flamingo for CET points since they still give points for table players. We're not serious players at CET, just enough to get 2-3 comped nights for our weeklong stays three times a year (combined with Grazie, it gets us a comp'd week). As a 7* player, I can certainly see where you would want to shift some loyalty. I'll be curious to see what responses you get, its always been my experience that CET is the most generous strip-based program, but if that is no longer true for table players, maybe its time for us to consider M-Life as our secondary program.

With MGM and Cosmo eliminating express comps for table play and Cosmo going to an opaque method of giving you tier credits for table play, I'm not sure you can say CET is the worst for table players any more.

I would say if you are 7 star (with all the perks) and fully comped at the back end, moving away will only reduce your overall comps.
What else you want in mind? Being treated like shifter at MGM? You need to bet that much.
As a mid level player at Mlife, you get nothing other than free room plus some food.

Who said anything about Shifter??? CET is making changes to the 7 Star program. I'm just exploring my options.
Backend comps are based on trip theo and my trip theo won't change. I may be just looking to allocate come trips to other properties.

I think that came from some confusion with you saying you are a mid-level player, but also you being 7 Stars (which ppl generally think "high roller" since it's the top tier). You might be the first person I have read on VMB that is 7 Stars mostly through table play. Also just saying your 7 Stars can be a bit vague because your ADT can vary widely based on the number of days you played in the year to achieve 7 Stars. If you only make one trip a year (as an extreme example), and make 7 Stars, then sure, splitting your play up probably doesn't stop you from being comped off the back end. But if you took 10 or more trips, then yeah things might change if you cut your play in half.

I understand you may not want to give out the number, but knowing your actual ADT might help others judge how much one might expect. If it's over $2k a day, I would guess that moving half your play elsewhere wouldn't adversely effect you at CET if you don't spend too much on food/high end booze. That's just an educated guess though from reading other people's experiences though this and other forums; I'm just a flea in gambling and CET only offers me what anyone with a TR card gets.

I'm strictly a table player and am 7* with CET. I don't think that's uncommon.

I was surprisingly (surprising because as you know, I sometimes get loud) treated very well at Bellagio last trip and also really enjoyed The D. In fact, The D has 10x odds. I'm headed to Vegas next month for a week or so. I plan to stay at The D for at least a portion of the trip.

Similar to you, I am a mid-roller craps player. While the CET treatment for table game players has worsened over the past few years, I'm not sure it's better anywhere else. Cosmo doesn't give points for table play, and most MGM properties don't appear to give good ratings at craps tables.

What level of player are you? There are a lot of people who can help but knowing your playing level will be key.

My 2 cents... The host will make a world of difference in this scenario. There are some that will bend over backwards for you whether you are a 10k player or a 500k player. Obviously, you won't get he villas or big comps, but they will take care of you. Relationships are a huge factor. If you have a crap host, it's going to suck regardless.

To me, if all you want/expect from your play is a comp room somewhere on the strip (low-roller), CET is by far the best option.

The second your play starts meriting things like RFB, resort credits, free play, etc, I would start looking to MLIFE or other props.

RFB. Suites if I want them. Limos (airport and other). Show tickets (on and off property). Spa/salon and small retail. My host is great. I'm not complaining about what I get. With program changes, I'm exploring my options. I'm just looking to not put all my eggs in one basket. Trip Theo drives trip comps. I'm not looking to split my play on a single trip. I'm thinking about doing a trip or two somewhere other than CET.

I think this is a great point.
Been on both sides of hosts and it can make a difference.

I think I am a mid level player(9 to 12K theo per trip although not sure if that is mid level or low).My personal experience has been better at MLife but other people have had great experience at Caesars and Cosmo.
My former Aria host is at Cosmo and I'm thinking of giving them another shot.

for the record, now you know 2, last 2 years, ive done 7* off of roullette and I done it fairly quick, only playing on thursday-saturday by mid february I was well past 150k tier...with the declining benefits and offers that they offer me, im not doing it again until they change it up, first year was pretty good, this year was garbage for what they offered except that they did give me 2 7* trips
