    We are going to vegas Oct.13th for 3 nights planed before booking a room. We are staying at the D sun. and mon. night but they are sold out for sat. I get 3 comp nights there so cost is 0 but only have 2 nights. So where can we stay sat. night there are 3 of us and dont want to spend much. Have checked the boyb propertys and you have to stay fri. to stay sat. El cortez is the same. The Las Vegas club is $114 but can get it on expedia for $70 the 20 for extra person and 10 for something else so $100 So any Ideas where we can just sleep and shower for 3 of us on sat. that is cheap?? :confused2:

    Markadele, I just checked Expedia and noticed it was $59 for Las Vegas Club but the hotel website was over $100. I ran into the same problem for the following Saturday in October (20th) and ended up booking at the Stratosphere for less money. The only downtown properties I could Saturday book were Vegas Club, Plaza, Golden Gate and Gold Spike and Golden Nugget.

    Man, that's tough! Saturday night only - and cheap, too!

    As you've found out, most Las Vegas hotels require a Fri. + Sat. reservation.

    I did a preliminary search for 10/13 only and prices range from $104.00 at the Plaza :eek: to $199.00 at the D :eek:.

    The only exception being a $59.00 room at the Vegas Club. ($66.45 w/ tax, etc.) They might even end up putting you at the Plaza across the street. But it looks like you've already considered that.

    Looks like you don't have a lot of options if you're determined to stay downtown.

    Hotwire has Plaza that night for $54. Total is $67 + $10 resort fee.

    The LV Club rooms are not bad. I've stayed there a few times. They are large for downtown, as are the rooms at the Plaza. However, Plaza rooms are newly remodeled. Sleep and shower.....go with the LVC.
    The casino may look dark and old, but, I've hit two Royals there over the years!
    Good luck. :beer::beer:

    I've had great rooms and just-functional rooms at LVC. Even the worst ones still got the job done and would be fine for one night. Even the worst downtown Fremont rooms are superior to many roadside Super 8/Motel 6 types of places. Take what's cheapest, as long as it's a recognizable name. Those "City Center Motel" "Fremont Plaza Motel" "On The Vegas Blvd Motel" places are the ones to avoid. They are fleabags that have changed their names to trick the unfamiliar traveler into thinking they are the bigtime places.

    Thank You for the info went ahead and booked LVC for $100 on expedia for the 3 of us. You can cancel within 48 hrs for full refund if we change our mind. After the flight arriving early morning and going all day partying late night as long as it has a bed it will work .

    I would try the Gold Spike. If you friend them on Facebook, they are always posting last minute room deals. Even if they don't, just message them and they will probably hook you up.

    If I'm not mistaken the "Fremont Plaza Hotel" has been leveled to make way for a building that zappos.com founder Tony Hsieh is going to build.

    I looked on expedia and you can book vegas club thru them for $59 and they have the same cancellation policy if you change your mind.

    if it were me...

    ...I would check my other offers for October... CET properties on the strip will almost always include Fridays & Saturdays comp'd if you stay at IP or (soemtimes) Rio. You may still have to book 3 nights & check in there, but what's a couple of round-trip cab rides? $60?

    Also - if you have a bconnected account, the October Fremont offer (for me, anyway) is for any two consecutive nights. If yours is the same, you should be able to book 2 nights that include the Saturday you need.

    Finally have the room booked! Look for me Feb 21-23
