My parents aren't living and the rest of he family could care less, so why not go to vegas. I know shows might be closed. but being alone at home and being alow in Vegas miht be a little less lonely. Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do?
I'm on Disability so money might be low and I'm not so vain not to play Penny Slots, eat at Micky D's, sit in the room and read a book. So let me know some sugestions, I will never stay again at Excalabur :nono: Sewage in the bathtub did it for me. I have stayed at Circus Circus mannors, Ballys when it was MGM and when it was Ballys Harriah, Imperial Pallace 4 time Treasure Island, 3 times at Excalibur with not only raw sewage coming in the bathtub and sink, but food poisioning :vomit:and counterfit bills passed from change for a travelers check  Some long gone places like 2 times at the Aladin, my first time in Vegas with my Mom we stayed at the Landmark, its gone too . Don't really want to stay downtown or on the other side of Highway 10 or is it 15? I will have a car, might do a day trip to LA. so I am open for suggestions.

    Thanks.

Well, around Christmas the deals are GREAT. If you want to be there for Xmas, it's pretty busy... and stuff isn't really closed. The week before is when it's dead. You can probably stay nearly anywhere you want... but if you are on a budget, I'd keep it somewhere not super high end. I love MGM Grand, I find I ALWAYS get a good deal there, the rooms are nice, and they have a big food court for discount dining.

And being from LA, it's farther than a day trip. 4.5 hour drive..
