Anyone, and prices??
I haven't seen them in glass bottles anywhere in the strip...you will probably have to go to a local grocery store to find them or a beverage distributor.
Even down here in The Dr Pepper Capital Of The World...Texas...it is rare for me to see them in glass bottles.
Soda Emporium has a case of 24 8-oz bottles for $33... but shipping to Oz? I have no idea... google them & you should be able to find out more... I'd post a link, but I don't want to get a spam warning!
Note-to-Rocky: The Krogers in North Texas have them in glass bottles.
I have seen them at my local Sam's in SoCal...not sure if the Vegas Sam's will have them.
Kroger where the old Dr Pepper plant was on Mockingbird at Mockingbird Station has all sorts of Dr. Pepper in bottles and Dr Pepper stuff. In Dallas for you that don't know where that is. I have trouble finding Dr. Pepper period in Las Vegas.
Thanks for the heads up on Kroger - I shop at HEB down here in Houston.
I don't think any casinos have Dr Pepper available - I was at a craps table once and a tried and true Texan cowboy asked for one and was incredulous that they didn't serve it there.
I usually get a 12 pk of DP (cans or plastic bottles) at Walgreens and keep them in my room ( My form of caffeine - no coffee for me) We will carry a couple with us for the day. Last trip I was offered 5.00 for one.
1 yelp reviewer says Rocket Fizz , in this review it says its the non-HFCS version : http://www.yelp.com/biz/rocket-fizz-las-vegas?q=dr.%20pepper , although that review is from 2010 and I have no idea if its still accurate.
Also, you'd probably have to drive from the strip.
The great wall of soda looks nice though:
This is for our upcoming trip to Vegas in September.
Can buy them in cans here in Oz, $10 for 12 355ml versions.
There is a non-HFCS version that comes in 20 oz/ 591 mL plastic bottles, they have a green label instead of maroon. I can't find any info on this at all on the interwebs, they just had them at work for like 2 weeks. As mentioned before, it's hard to find the glass bottles even in Texas since the Dublin (TX) bottling facility closed, or at least stopped bottling DP.
I have a hard time finding it at all in Vegas except for a place like McDonald's. The Coca-Cola aligned places will usually have Mr. Pibb, but as Mitch Hedberg said, it's a poor substitute...he didn't even get his degree.
