Does anyone know if the number of machines and table games in each Las Vegas (or Nevada, for that matter) casino is publicly available online anywhere? If anything, I would have expected the information to be available on the Nevada Gaming Control Board website, but while there's quite a bit of information on their website, I haven't been able to locate these specific statistics. It could be that I'm just looking in the wrong place, or that this information isn't made public, but either way any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The NGC website wouldn't have it because the number of tables and slots in a casino could fluctuate on an almost daily basis (maybe not so much with table games, but there are new slot machines coming out all the time).

You can check the wikipedia entry for each casino and that will give you a rough idea with answers like "the casino at _____ has more than 75 table games and over 1,200 slot machines"

I know I did see a list years ago, that was in one of those free magazines you can get in Las Vegas... but not sure which one as in my early trips to Las Vegas days I was always grabbing every one that I could find.

Like Auggie said, anything you find is just going to be a ballpark since they change daily I would imagine or at least monthly. But i use this website for a pretty decent ballpark figure and sometimes the news section will have interesting tidbits. http://www.casinocity.com/

Also, like that it lists foreign casinos which has been helpful for me in travels to Korea and Italy. Not that I am a degenerate gambler and have to gamble everywhere I go! :D

Thanks for posting this, I've been on that site but I don't think I noticed those reports before. You can import all that data to excel so I might have some fun with it later. One thing I wonder is do those numbers reflect actual numbers of those games on the floor or the number of licenses a casino has for the game? I don't see it explained anywhere.

Because for example here are their numbers for strip casinos with the highest number of blackjack tables:

    • 116 VENETIAN RESORT HOTEL CASINO/PALAZZO RES
    • 115 WYNN LAS VEGAS
    • 84 Bellagio
    • 69 COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS, THE
    • 68 FLAMINGO LAS VEGAS/O'SHEAS

    And craps tables:

    • 20 VENETIAN RESORT HOTEL CASINO/PALAZZO RES
    • 20 WYNN LAS VEGAS
    • 12 ARIA RESORT & CASINO
    • 12 BELLAGIO
    • 10 Mandalay Bay RESORT & CASINO

Baccarat (which is separate from mini-bacc):

    • 66 CAESARS PALACE
    • 52 VENETIAN RESORT HOTEL CASINO/PALAZZO RES
    • 39 WYNN LAS VEGAS
    • 36 BELLAGIO
    • 28 ARIA RESORT & CASINO

Don't those numbers seem high? I can't picture 84 BJ tables and 12 craps tables at the Bellagio. Bacc is only in the HL/baccarat rooms and there aren't any craps tables in the HL rooms right?

I don't pay much attention to the table games, but I suspect the numbers in the report should be actual because they do change slightly from one report to another.

For example, I have a saved copy of the report for 2013-03-31, and it showed 82 BJ tables at Bellagio instead of the more recent 84. (Roulette decreased from 20 then to 18 now. Craps is unchanged at 12.)
