Who's got low limit roulette?
Does 4Qs still have $0.50 roulette?
I think they're $1 chips. El cortez has .25 through the week and .50 on the weekend.
and what's the minimum $ that you have to put down per spin?
Not sure. I'm always spraying chips so I'd never even come close to the minimum.
El cortez, when i was there a few Saturdays ago, was $2 minimum bet per spin in the late morning into early afternoon.
Good thread, I don't play roulette but my girlfriend always comments that it looks fun when we walk by so I thought we'd give it some play in September.
That was my thought also...never tried it, but would like to.
El Cortez requires 4 units per spin so that is $1.00 (4 quarters) during the week and $2.00 (4 halves) on weekends. I think the next lowest minimum downtown is $4 per spin with dollar chips at MSS. If you want really low, Joker's Wild (a Boyd property on Boulder Hwy but with a different slot club from MSS, Gold Coast, Orleans, etc.) has $0.25 chips on the weekend and $0.10 chips during the week -- you can play there all day on $20.
Anyone know what the mins are at off strip places like the Orleans or the Station casinos?
if you don't mind video roulette, luxor and cosmo both have $0.25 video roulette
video roulette - even in the big strip hotels - usually .25 cent "chips" with 1 dollar minimum.
As far as the Orleans during the days following the Superbowl, table min for roulette was $5 in or out and $5-$10 for blackjack. Not as cheap as I would expect.
Yeah, me too. I've been going for more years than I'd like to admit and have never played. Haven't got a clue of the strategy to use, would need to read up first
I don't think there really is a strategy. You're bucking 5,26% house edge on all bets on a double zero wheel.
well now, just might stay a roulette virgin a little longer. Maybe if I want a break, come across a inexpensive table, say that has cleavage. Maybe then, but no rush
