I was wondering if the MGM Poker Room is in it's regular permanent location by the Centrifuge Bar or are they still moving it all over the casino floor due to construction? I miss playing there!

It's sort of off to the side now, for lack of a better way to put it. I'm not sure what the name for the area is, but if you're walking from the main part of the casino towards Centrifuge/Hakkasan, it's in the alcove off to your left. Considering that the construction is pretty much done, it looked like that's where it is to stay; it definitely didn't look as nice as the old room, and kind of reminded me of the room at Luxor.

EDIT: After looking at old maps, I think it's sort of where the lion habitat used to be. Here's the current property map:

It's kind of around that unmarked orange space on the bottom left, between where Hakkasan and security are marked. The sports book is still in the same place, in the light orange space by Centrifuge.

if you walk in the front door from LVB, you walk to the right past the Centrifuge bar and it's just on the right. it's actually just past where the Lions used to be. it's very close to the front door, but that also makes it far from the elevators and everything else.

I think it has lost a lot of it's former character. On the plus side, you no longer have to listen to the monkey screech from the Rainforest Café.

On the deep minus side, no more ogling chicks coming and going to Centrifuge.:wink2:

Park in the MGM garage. Walk about 3 miles north all the way through the casino and it's on the left.
