a little new to town (stayed at ARIA a couple months ago) and coming back next week for a few days. I've played (BJ /Craps) at ARIA and Bellagio, and want to stay in the Mlife family.

Wondering what is the best route from Vdara to MGM.

    Is it:

Walk - if so, best route? Are their connectors? Whats the most direct?
Taxi - seems like a short distance, so is this worth the effort?

    Thanks in advance

Probably about a 15-20 minute walk down las vegas blvd then cross over at NYNY.
You can also go into Aria and take the monorail to Monte Carlo then walk the rest of the way. Might save you a few minutes.

    Dont do the monorail.

Vdara outside to the back lobby of Aria, through the Aria (stay along the right wall, youll pass the cage and then 550 Pizza). Past poker, through the glass doors up the escalator and then back down the big escalator... go into the walk/shop area and then to the Monte Carlo. Youll pop out the back at the food court area, all the way through the MC (I hate this place... low cielings, all yellow, dimly lit, etc) then out the front doors and towards the NYNY. From there you can go in the doors by the Brooklyn bridge and thru the casino, or just stay on the sidewalk and go up and over. Takes like 15 minutes as mentioned earlier.
