Checked yesterday for 10 April for 7 nights at Ballys. As diamond there were comps and total of $132 for the week. Didn't quite get around to booking it yesterday. Decided to check again this morning and website was down. Waited before booking the flight and no comps at all anywhere, not even The Quad, no time in any month and over $800 for the same thing in April. Rang Ballys to check as I'm diamond and can't believe there are no comp nights anywhere. I was told things change by the minute. She said there are conferences up until September and nothing is safe until its booked. Really? Within a couple of hours all comps are gone for all months.

Looks like they won't be taking my money in April.

Disappointed. Will keep checking in case they are put back but by then I expect the flight will be twice the price.

If anyone can throw any light on it then I'd appreciate it. First of all I thought it hadn't signed me in properly which is why I rang but nope all in order and nothing free or even cheap.

Just checked mine and lots of free rooms for those dates. Maybe they re-evaluated your play and dropped you down a level?

This is what we have been saying for months. Your story isn't unusual.

When this was first presented other people chimed in with 'Well my comps night are still there....'

IF YOU ARE A CET MEMBER AND YOU SEE COMP ROOMS...BOOK IT!

    All change

Just logged in again and it's all back. Maybe it was what I thought and someone hadn't yet updated the website to put the comp nights and casino rates in and the site went live again only half finished. Funny how the girl on the end of the phone didn't think it was odd.

Now, to go or not to go????

Gonna book it quick though, can always cancel.

I noticed that too...late last night I was just perusing the Total Rewards site for the week I am going in June, had fully comped at Bally's (South Tower) for my entire stay...didn't book because I wasn't really looking to stay there. I checked again after I saw your post, no offers showing now at all.

Hopefully yours will come back like mine did when you next log on. I've booked the accom but not the flight yet. Need to go out so hopefully that will still be available. Room has gone up $19 but I can live with that, lol.

Glad the comps all came back for you!

FWIW, I was told by a host that they do a CET system-wide audit (for lack of a better word) over all players accounts every March. So, you might have comp rooms at the beginning of March and not by the end of the month. Or vice versa.

I guess this is also why they have the platinum and diamond cards expire every March.

CET gave me a offer last week to pick up a free cruise certificate from Caesars Palace Total Rewards desk. I had until March 21 to pick it up. I normally stay at Caesars unless it is a special offer somewhere else. Many of the mid week dates where booked it said. The best I could get was Roman tower, so I booked it. When I got there they upgraded me without me asking. They gave me the petite suite. If you can't get the room you want maybe you will get something better. [IMG][IMG]

All booked. Flight was still available with virgin for taxes only. Didn't really like it when I was solo last time but that was in December, hopefully it will be different in the sunshine.

The week of April 8th a regular room at Harrah's goes for $247 a day. What??? For that you can head over to the Wynn/Encore! Yet by the next week of the 15th, it is at $32 a week. There must be some sort of convention going on for the week of the 8th. This is if you carry their Total Rewards card. From checking the room rates at the TR site and other sites like Expedia and JetBlue it looks like rates for the rooms have gone up a bit. Plus starting this year there are not much comps either. Last year I got at least two or three but this year I receive none. And my total points for 2012 was only around 33!

There is an international broadcasting exhibition or something like that with 93,000 people expected. I know because friends of mine booked a flight before accommodation for the 8th to 11th and they are almost paying more for the three nights than the flight from the UK. Ouch.

It all depends. My calendar comps are gone since I no played them in Sep, but some poker play since then, and now I have the discount rate vegas offer code, and on some weeknights that comes out as a comp (yes, now Im finally one of those people getting a better deal from the offer code).

I am booked (comped) at Harrahs for the Bring a Friend Set the Sail Cruise offer for 5th-8th. My calendar shows comp M-F at most casino's except Paris. At Paris I only have Wednessday comped.
