My husband was looking at hotel rooms for Sept, looks like the hotel rooms are a little high priced for the week of Sept 12. Is there something major going on? If anyone can help. thanks

I believe it is the first week of football. But that typically doesn't drive the price too high since it is the week after the holiday

It's too early yet to take the rates seriously. We looked at a Bally's at August and the prices were very high. I'm sure they will come down by June.

I think we're going to see a lot of variances in prices on rooms since the new T-Mobile Arena will be open and will have events sprinkled throughout different months causing the strip resorts to charge a bit more as events are announced and then backing off if they can't sell them out closer to when you want to go.
