Where're you goin'?
2nd trip - this year - to Vegas 06/12~15.
The Mrs. to Honolulu June 6/21~28
Both of us to DC 07/9~17
Lake Charles Louisiana
I have nothing planned. Thanks for rubbing it in, Ken.
Well, you live in a pretty damn fine part of the world where you are, so you always have that!!
Oguncuit Maine for one...pass da buddah
saratoga race course for another....don't drink from the big red spring..
Work trip to Orlando in 2 weeks. Husband is going to an r/c fly-in in SC next week. Possibly a long weekend to Boston or Portland ME in July or August. Otherwise - we don't like to vacation in the summer. Too many kids, prices too high. We're shoulder or off-season travelers ;-)
Portugal in September with my college roommates. 3 of us have our tickets but we don't know where we're going yet.
Nov/Dec - long trip to Asia. Stay in Singapore, cruise to Hong Kong, a couple nights there. 20 or 22 days. Can't wait!
I'm hoping for a new overseas work project but nothing yet.....
OK, for H2 ... what do you have planned though the year???
We also had a belated 15th anniversary trip to London in January. And my grandfather's 90th birthday/family reunion in the midwest in April. I answered the unspoken question in my original post though ;-)
September: Bermuda (cruise)
Portland, Or to see my son in early June for a week with a side trip to Bend, Or. Wisconsin Dells the same month for a weekend. Other than that, nothing planned. Maybe some overnights in Milwaukee that we have not planned yet. We have been known to take in a Brewers game (not fans) but it is a nice stadium and close to Potawatomi.
Too much, lol. Right now, the plan is three trips to vegas this summer, plus Miami, Yellowstone, Philadelphia, and New Orleans
This month is Oakhurst, which is by Yosemite National Park then lake Tahoe for a week. vegas in june, July and October.
No clue. I was thinking maybe a long weekend to Lake Geneva or something like that. But I don't have any major plans for the whole year. It feels like a staycation kind of year for me.
Going to Vegas in July to cool off. Those of you who have to deal with humidity in the South know exactly what I mean. Every July I go to Vegas and the 100+ degree heat is MUCH more tolerable than the 90 degree/90% humidity days that bombard us for months. Great deals in July too...........
Not quite summer, but I'm heading to Salt Lake City tomorrow AM to attend my nephew's graduation from Utah. Then Vegas May 23rd for our 20th Anniversary May 25, and husbands Bday 2 days after.
Not much during the summer, probably a long weekend in Port Aransas or a night in San Antonio. Late Sept we have a group of 34 or so people heading to Key West to celebrate my (gulp) 50th Bday. Hoping for Vegas or maybe NOLA in December.
Durango, Colorado taking our 9 year old grandson on the narrow gauge train. Mesa Verde to see the Indian dwellings. Going through Fort Sumner on the way to see the grave of Billy the Kid. My husband has a big fascination with the Old West and he got our grandson interested in it too.

I'm going to Greece for a wedding in late August. It's on the island of Kefalonia. I have to figure in some Greece touristy things. I'm not sure how much time I need in Greece. I'm not a "lay on the beach for days on end" type of person.
I'm not looking to go anywhere if I can help it. I live in a Country Club/Resort Community in an area that people come to for vacation. Driving 45 minutes to AC for a couple days usually takes place but dont know if you could really call that a vacation. I've seen the two places on my bucket list,Grand Canyon ,twice and Panama Canal .
either Quebec City or the Maine coast in August (depending on how the CAN$$ behaves) with the wife for our anniversary
Vegas the first weekend in September for NFL week 1 with a buddy
