Yesterday I was so excited to get an offer from Wynn. Room, Le Reve, Buffets, etc. I was so happy they acknowledged me after all those hours feeding their machines on my last trip. And those machines were HUNGRY!!!

I said to my husband, "Look! I got an offer from Wynn!" He took the letter and asked why his name was on it. HUH?!?!

Dan has NEVER set foot in Wynn. Even if he had, his meager $5 blackjack wouldn't get noticed there. Also, he hasn't even been to Vegas since 2003.

So why exactly is Steve ignoring me and courting my husband? Not fair, Wynn! :evillaugh

That's kinda funny... I had completely different plans on the horizion for the summer until I received a similar offer. 3 nights comp'd, free buffets, free $300 in FreePlay etc.
The minute I received the offer I trashed all my other tentative summer plans and jumped on it. The last place I wanted to spend the summer was in the Vegas Heat but oh well.
Now I'm looking forward to my first ever 4th Of July in Las Vegas. Speaking of which is it the same as NYE? Are the streets all closed off etc? Super Crowded? Anyone know?

The Fourth of July is nothing like the New Year's celebration - there are barely any fireworks at all (a couple of properties on the Strip have them but they are difficult to see from The Strip itself - they are not all that impressive) and a few off strip places like Red Rock. But that is it.

I have gione to Vegas for the last several Fourth of July holidays and it is nothing out of the ordinary - slightly more crowded simply because it is a holiday but it is much more crowded when it falls over a long weekend, as opposed to in the middle of the week. There are definitely no streets blocked or sidewalks so crowded you can barely move...it is just business as usual in Vegas.

Because he's the man of the house and Wynn knows to respect that. Now get back in the kitchen. :poke:

    ^hahahahaha

I actually routinely get pretty good deals from Wynn. We've stayed there a few times in the past, but I wouldn't say we've gambled a lot there.

:haha: Yeah, I was saying a bit of that in the house last night.

I didn't see the "He-man's Woman Haters Club - No Gurlz Allowed" sign as I was walking into Wynn last year. Maybe that's why I couldn't get a winning VP hand to save my life.

As my wife often reminds me, what's mine is hers. Take the offer and don't look back.

Yeah, similar thing happened to me last year. I had barely set foot in Wynn. Maybe had spend 3 hours there total and I was getting those offers. I took them up on it and gave them quite a bit of play over 3 days. Not huge action but 50-100 per hand at Craps and BJ. Haven't sniffed an offer since. It is like they value the unknown more than the known.

Here is the most likely scenario. Either he or you must have used his ATM card to withdraw money from one of the casinos. It was most likely not at Wynn when they ATM card was used. Unfortunately, some of the operators of said ATM machines do sell your casino ATM withdrawals to casinos/resorts.

Some of you might say, "But everyone uses an ATM in a casino at one time or another."

I can't really answer the why or how come, but this indeed is most likely the case.

This is a big reason why some people may have never stepped foot into a casino, and received offers from that casino.

I'm sure they got Dan's address somewhere. He does have players cards from when we used to travel to Vegas together.

I suspect they pulled my credit and saw I don't have any money and that he's the big breadwinner, so they went straight to the source. I hate to break it to them, but he makes it and I spend it.

Thank you! :nworthy: you saved me from looking like a :vomit: I have had it. With my in laws who "always win" and get all these great offers. But never seem to go, and you never hear about loosing.
I was told by hubby they got this great offer from Wynn, 3 nights, food and 300 or so free play. They haven't been to Vegas since 8 years. They were only at Wynn for an hour. I was so annoyed, I was going to call them out on it. Oops saved me from an egg facial. :nono:
