Thought this would be an interesting question.

Many of the ones offered do not fit my Vegas trip pattern or lifestyle (club passes at the top of the list.)

I also wonder why there are no rooms except for upgrades available at the MGM and only the suite that has been offered for Mandalay Bay.

I would like to see more buffet/food vouchers available but for specific time slots priced accordingly, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch are definitely priced differently.....or restaurant vouchers before 3pm, after 5pm, you get the picture. Rather than 2 drinks available at the restaurants, with pool season coming up, I'd like to see poolside drinks, and a large mocha/cappuchino/latte or pastry of choice from the coffe bars.

They have actually started surveying on this very topic. I suggested retail - both gift shops and spa - as well as spa passes. I also suggested better rewards for solo travelers.

No survey for me--at least not that I'm aware of. I'd like to see more full-night hotel deals and tasting menus. I didn't realize there was one. I'm somewhat near 200k and would love to have that renewed.

I've always wondered why they don't have the Aria buffet -- they seem to have all the other hotels' buffets. That would be my vote since I'm staying there this summer!

This is a hard question for me as my wife and I have made out so well. When I look at it we have 3 meals, 3 shows, 4 free nights (entire stay) in a room better than we originally planed to stay in.

I see that as an all expenses paid vacation (other than airfare and gambling), for playing a game that we have enjoyed for the most part. Sure I would like to see them add a private jet to Vegas, limo service to and from the airport, free play... but honestly I would really like to see them keep up with the rewards they have.

I have played the game for just under 2 months now, and in that time I have seen a real decrease in rewards and feel very lucky that I have gotten the ones I have. As the rewards decrease, I expect rewards to become more coupons rather than the current rewards (I hope I'm wrong). Rewards like 25% off of room rates have replaced the Room + Food and Beverage rewards that were around 2 months ago.

I can see it going that way (% or $$$ off larger awards or more full smaller rewards) as people are using it to pay all their expenses instead of just adding a little extra to their trip, and from what I understand that was never the intention. That is why you can only redeem/use 3 awards in a 30 day period now. How were you able to redeem so many in a 2 month period?

I've been playing since February and only have now reached 75,000 LP and at the earliest am planning a September trip. I do not add people to my FB to gather friend points so it is just me working my way up.

Airport limo transportation would be sweet.

An Aria Sky Suite reward or upgrade/discount of some kind.

More bottle service rewards besides Aria

I would just like to see some available that aren't sold out for food etc. That would be a good start.

Well, we had 2 people playing... My wife has earned close to 160K LP, and I have earned 275k LP. Being a geek for numbers, I worked on the optimal play for a level... there are others who have done the same, but I found a few small errors in it. I did add friends to my facebook page which helps, I hate facebook and had not logged into my account for 6 months before this game, so it didn't bother me to do this. By having these friends, I was able to max my daily spin. I will dig through groups to find new players and collect their shares to get my max 20K chips per day from that (when you are impressive). I don't play a game until I have 40X+ my bet, which allows me to have the varriance required to play for a longer period of time at the optimal bet.

Comparing my wife and my play, I would say that despite the fact she plays more and longer than I do... the allowing for varriance and optimal bet is the key to the game. Where she has failed to keep up despite her longer play is that she will spend her time playing at a smaller number than optimal just to "make that level" or play at a higher level "because I have so many chips"

Optimal (based on my findings)... Optimal is my calculation of Chips for LP and Time... there are some times that chips for LP could be a bit better if I played at a much lower ammount... but then it would take too much time.

Up to level 31 - Bet 60 per spin
Up to level 57 - Bet 200 per spin
Up to level 104 - Bet 1K per spin
    104+ Bet 1K per spin

Note, What I found is if you have the time, Blackjack is even better as it only gives 1/2 the VIP points per "spin". I didn't find this until level 52... and only did it sometimes as you can't walk away while playing.

For blackjack, I think I have found a betting system (do not use in a casino) that seems to work. The game seems to stack the deck rather than being random. I have had (and read about others who have had) huge winning streaks, and huge loosing streaks. My theory is that they have set the game up to prevent people from going on long runs with the martingale (spelling?)... which as this isn't real money, and rewards are based on ammount played rather than chips won would be an advantage play. So I think to combat this they have introduced a "shuffle" that creates these long streaks. So when I play I start with 1 unit (1000 chips) and play that until I hit a huge loosing streak (10+ games) As soon as I win two games in a row after that 10+ loosing streak, I bet 2X... until I lose 2 in a row then drop back town to 1X. This has not always worked... but more often than not, it will keep me at a ballanced chip stack for 1000+ hands. Because the loosing streaks are very long and painful, I don't play blackjack without 80X my bet... so 80,000 chips if my base bet is 1000.

    Hope this helps...

MGM Grand recently renovated so their rooms may be "too good" for this game in their eyes. MGM basic rooms went from 50-70 average to 100-130 average.

It is surprising that only the suite is offered for MB.

I read somewhere (not sure) that MGM Intl might soon be renovating their rooms at all properties, so I guess this game is to entice people about the properties before the big renovations. Then, they will jack all the prices!! Let's enjoy this.

With all the new one-ticket, one-buffet things, I think they certainly helped us solo travelers but simultaneously hurt the couples/pairs/groups. What's worse is they are charging solos the same price they once sold couples, and making couples pay twice the amount of points as before. For many of the changes in the shows, they have made couples pay for premium tickets while solo travelers get the lowest seat categories. Nevertheless, at least they tried to accommodate solo travelers. But a failed attempt can sometimes be MGM's style.

Where is this survey by the way?

I love the idea of a SPA!!

I would like see them expand to other areas besides Vegas as I am within driving distance of MGM Detroit. I thought they (MY Vegas) sent out a survey several months ago asking the same thing. Did anyone else get that or am I imagining it?

I think the survey went out to people who had made redemptions as it was also about how the process went in Vegas.

Thanks for the insight! I was just curious why one of (or is it still) the largest hotels in the world didn't have their lower level rooms available. I think you may be on to something. Mandalay Bay has a few different levels of rooms too, so, even though the suite is nice, a regular room would be just fine too.

Morning speciality coffee with a bite to eat would be great.

The limo to/from the airport are good suggestions is an idea, I think all of the hotels have their own small fleet.
