How many handpays have you had *in Vegas* total?
1800 on quick hits at Mandalay Bay.
I've only had two W2G level hand pays. Both were progressive royals at Sam's Town. The first for $1600+ in Tunica, the second for $1500+ in Vegas. There have been many more hand pays, but for smaller amounts - $1000 royals and even a $300+ win on a nickle machine. I've not kept track of how many of those $1K royals were paid by hand.
Been playing slots for 25+ years, sometimes betting max, usually betting about a buck to a buck fifty, and played many a dollar slot. I have never had a hand pay in my life!
But, that's how my luck goes.
I've had 4 handpays with W2gs. 2 in Vegas ($1500, $1700) and 2 at one if the Indiana riverboats ($1300, $3000), all on penny slots.
I had one TITO for $1600, but it was an accumulation of several smaller wins under $1200, including a $1000 bonus on a nickel slot. I was expecting a handpay on that one because of its size, but that nickel slot just printed it without question. Now finding a bill breaker that had enough money in it to cash it was another story. Tried several as I headed to the cashier's cage.
2, $1300 and $1500. both sucked.
one . .
My first ever trip to Vegas in 2007 and won $25 on some slot thingie with many lines at some casino which I forgot.
0 as in Zero.
Probably seen about 20 though..
Most recently at the Rio sportsbook bartop VP a guy playing machine to my right $5 denom.Gets DEALT 4 aces with kicker.A $10 g payout. All the bartenders came over to congratulate him, found out the next day he's a regular there.Handpay was a stack he put in pocket.
About 15-20 minutes later,he taps me on the shoulder and points at his screen. He hit it again holding 2 Aces...
Another stack another pocket...That's probably the biggest hits I've ever witnessed so close together...Then get this..
another 15 minutes later the guy gets a low quad for $1250...I'm just watching the opening week Sunday NFL games and this guy and one of those only in Vegas moments..
Whoo... Hooo !!! I can answer this question now... One-(1) $2,000 Royal a week and a half ago!!!
I've had one hand pay in Las Vegas - a little over $1300 at Excalibur.
I had one trip where I got very lucky in avoiding two hand pays: at Imperial Palace on a "50 Lions" machine I was just $4 short of hitting a hand pay and at Aria on a "Choy Sun Doa" machine I was $21 shy of a hand pay.
2 in Vegas- a day apart..2k and 4k.
one in AC, 2k.
Best hit I've ever had was four aces playing White Hot Aces at the MGM Grand Detroit for $600 (my icon picture).
0 as well.
I've never even SEEN one happen. Although, I was a Strip-only person until my last 2 trips...
I have ZERO handpays so far, lol! One time I wasn't playing max bet and hit for 600 dollars. Had it been max bet it would have been a hand pay.
Another trip I hit for $1089.00 on a 3-reel double triple diamond machine. No hand-pay, just TITO there.
I actually dread having hand-pays under 5K. I feel it's not worth the hassle of a W2G.
I dream of hand-pays in the 5, 6, or 7 figures!
But given the way I typically play, that's not surprising either.
Zero for me.
My husband has had 2. One for $4000 at the D, then the next morning he went to the Golden Gate to use his $100 free play and got a $2000 pay after the third spin. That was a sweet win!
I've had a few hand pays over the years. 1K to 4K.
Most fun was a non-handpay in the old days: 500 in dollar tokens. Had to grab 5 of those old red racks to cash out.
That was a high class probem
I've had 7 tax level handpays this year and my wife has had 2. Since we increased to $1, $2 and $5 VP and slots, there have been a lot more. Biggest was Labor day at Rio for $8000. Dealt 4 fours on a $5 triple play machine and drew one kicker. A couple hands before that I was dealt 2 kings and hit quad kings on two rows for $2525. So in about ten minutes, two hand pays and tax forms.
We are actually ahead for the year. Thats 4 vegas trips, 2 Bossier City trips, one Laughlin, Tunica, Santa Fe NM and Harrahs Cherokee NC. Three more to go so hope we can keep the streak going the rest of the year.
