I have been comped lots of dinners, high end scotches, show tickets and fight tickets. Of course, they were all "earned" as a result of my play. However, the coolest comp I ever got was when my boss's family of four were going to Vegas (I was not going). My Mandalay Bay host arranged for four tickets to Ka and four tickets to the Lion King for them, at my request. I was extremely impressed since the comps were given even though I was not on that trip.

I am sure that a lot of the high rollers on the site have much more impressive comps, but that one is my personal favorite.

Mine is similar, I sent my parents to Vegas for their first and only trip and my host at the Bellagio agreed to comp them a room and tix to O and to David Copperfield (my dad was a huge magic fan). Then when they got there they were even upgraded to some suite and the host put a gift basket in there one night. Which I would barely pay attention to but my mom thought was so cool.

This was back when I was going to Vegas every few months and he was one of the only hosts I've ever felt was a genuinely nice guy. Which is probably why he left the business and started some golf related company instead.

My NYNY host hooked my no gambling sister up. The only thing she payed for was her airline ticket. She let her use my EC's for meals too which she did not have to do. It meant more to me than my sis because she went waaayy above and beyond on a person guaranteed to not spend a nickel of her money.
I love that little hosty with the mosty.

I used to get interesting invites from the Palms. One was golfing with playboy playmates. I never did go but it was a cool offer.

Back when the RIO was the RIO,before Harrahs turned it into a shell of what was a great property, they gave me some great comps.

One of the coolest was setting me up in the two story penthouse on top of the Ipanema tower for 5 days RFB.
Great suite and my kids were along on that trip in the connecting room.
It turned out to be a great weekend.

Two years ago my host got me an Ocean Front suite with a balcony on the 23rd floor at Showboat during the Atlantic City Air Show. We could see the jets passing at eye level while most people had to stretch their necks looking up. He also sent up a bunch food goodies. My friend who went with me was extremely impressed. This was great because there aren't that many rooms on the boardwalk that have balconies. At the time I was a Diamond player and I know that there were Seven Stars players on floors below me.

Nothing exciting, but the best comp I've received was last summer when the Riv gave my mom matching freeplay from my account. The $75 bucks a day wasn't much to me, but for my mom it made me a "high roller". :evillaugh

Of course, then I had to suffer through worried questions about just HOW much money do I gamble when I go to Vegas.:rolleyes2:

Two-(2) tickets for my wife and I to the Motley Crue concert at the HRH (Joint). They were studio-level box seats and for those of you who saw one of the concerts, our box was the one that Vince Neil jumps out of when he rides the zip line over the crown and onto the stage. The boxes have big, thick leather chairs and are right on the rail overlooking the audience and stage. There were 7 or 8 other people in the box with us, which made it more fun and our own waitress meant no one had to move for a drink and the cups were never empty! A VERY memorable evening!

Received a free trip to Laughlin (charter flight + rooms - earned from degenerate gambling on the Joliet riverboat) and turned it into a Vegas trip (snagged a comped suite at Harrah's LV) for my two brothers in their young 20s. The Laughlin hosts didn't like it but I didn't like their no DAS except on 10/11 rules.

They spent much of the trip drinking and ordering shrimp cocktails from room service. We also hit the Grand Canyon on the way from Laughlin to Vegas, our first visit. Been back a few times since (North and South rim).

Got a charter flight for 2 people to Laughlin out of Calgary last year with room. Hated Laughlin and ended up driving to Vegas for a couple nights, but that was the largest comp I've ever got.

I'm a very low roller. Maybe spend $100 gambling on VP a day. Last summer called Flamingo and although my flyer said comp for two midweek nights, the phone rep told me I could have four. When I showed up they put me in a Go Luxury room on a high floor with a strip view and just a few quiet steps from the elevator. Pretty good for free. And I walked away a winner playing VP. Great trip.

Coolest comp I was offered was golfing with Tiger Woods at Crown casino in Melbourne when he was down there for the Australian Open 2 years ago. You can bring 3 friends and play 2 holes with him. They gave me an engraved golden putter.

My wife had some health issues so I was forced to stay home...needless to stay I'm still pissed....but it was a legitimate reason.

I like those shopping spree comps that the MGM and Palazzo gives out, 20k shopping for the wife or mother makes them happy during my Vegas trip, and in turn makes me happy. It is just not the same if I had to dig out money to give to them...and promo chips go away too fast...

Toss up between 3 nights comp at THEHotel and comp meal at Aureole coming up for the May trip, before this trip I would say 3 nights comp in Luxury suite at Luxor the last 3 trips.
