    Hello VMB;

I have a feeling that my question will start a discussion based upon the likes and dislikes of many different people based upon their personal idea of "Value".
I guess it would be more fair to properly outline what I mean by the title question.

    1. Overall property luxury
    2. Room Size
    3. Bathrooms and size
    4. Proximity to amenities (Restaurants and Clubs)
    5. Suite vs. Luxury Room
    6. No Comps ... I will pay for the room out of pocket

It is with these ideas in mind that I ask the question above.

Thank You for any response given.

    Aremel

That said, there are plenty of properties more exciting than Wynn.

Before I looked at your picture, I asked myself ... is this Steve in disguise. hahaha

Thank You ... But how about a little clarity ... or a little more specificity as to the tangibles please?

    Thank You sco5123

A standard room at Palazzo fits all your requirements, and it won't set you back as much as some others. The place has convenient parking, access to excellent dining, gigantic rooms that make a suite unnecessary IMO, luxurious appointments (haven't stayed there for several years, so not sure how rooms are wearing), big bathrooms, can't speak to the club because it isn't my thing. I like to ask at the desk for a high room with a view of the Wynn golf course, even though it's a hike to the elevators from those rooms.

Wynn is just as luxurious, or more so, but rooms are smaller, it will probably cost more, and the staff IMO is snobbish. You do get a better dressed crowd at Wynn, if that matters.

    TY Bardolator,

It sounds to me like you have a lot of knowledge about Palazzo. That is the kind of info I need ... I appreciate you for the details.

Do we have to take the room rate into account? If so, what are you willing to spend per night?

    REEL ...
NO, room rate is not a concern.
I will pay what is necessary for the room I want.
I just do not want the mandatory play time interfering with my trip as would be required for a comped room.
    Thanks

A Wrap Around Terrace suite with premium view at the Cosmo.
Where else can you get an OUTSIDE terrace with an iconic view of the Bellagio towers and Strip? (see Sindustry's picture)
And the rest of the 1200 sq foot room is not too shabby...

    PayTriple,

Thank you for the info ... that is sounding rather good.
I don't want to appear Architecturally inept, however, are you talking about an outside Balcony
when you say Terrace or an actual terrace of some sizeable amount of Square Footage?

    Thanks

We are talking 480 sq ft of outdoor space with the best views in Vegas, because you are outside!

Look it up on YouTube there are plenty of tours.

    Here is the floor plan.

A Private pool is always good, especially if no one is looking down into it; if you get my drift :)
    Keep me posted please.

This looks nice ... and the terrace is big enough and would obviously give me a great view.
    I like it.
    Thanks again

2nd vote for the wrap around, for rooms that you can actually pay cash for (e.g. not high roller only) it's about the best for all your categories

    Thank You Frank.

It is said that "Out of the mouth of two witnesses all things will be established" ... that makes two, so I will now look into this aggressively ... TY VMB ... once again you come through.

    You are all much appreciated.

Skylofts. It is way better than a wrap around, IMO. The only thing the wrap around has better is the terrace. The terraces are awesome.

How's the view from a Skyloft?

No where near as nice as a bellagio fountain view with the wrap around.

The wrap around has the best view on the strip, IMO.

The skyloft rooms and service is awesome. I stayed in my friend's room several years ago. One of my favorite rooms. I heard they have one with a plunge pool. I never been in that room thou. I also really liked the skysuites at Aria.

Would you consider the Lanai suite to be better than a wrap around? I have never been in a Lanai suite, but always wanted to.

The Cosmo Lanai suite is smaller and less spacious than the Wraparond, and it does not have a view. But it does open out the back to its own patio with hot tub and has direct access to the Bamboo pool. So very different experiences.
I think the Wraparound has the "Wow" factor and spaciousness to impress guests but the Lanai suite is nice for a relaxing weekend during pool season.
