In particular with respect to cabana or day bed rental.

If I choose not to pre book a cabana or day bed can the concierge get it cheaper for me upon arrival?

What do you tip a concierge?

    Thanks

Doubtful a concierge can get it for you cheaper. What to tip? I would say it depends on the type of service you're asking of them. Sold out show or boxing tix for example. If he scores those for you, your tip should be greater than asking him to book a cabana.

I'll also add, a good concierge has many outside contacts where he can get almost anything you can think of that's legal.

I bought a $50 pass to the VIP pool area at Mirage from the concierge. I did not tip.

Wow. Not to bust your chops, but unless the Concierge really messed things up, that's not cool. Tips are what they work for.

Sorry, all she did was type in my name into the computer and print out a ticket, just like any ticket office. I was not aware that was worth a tip. I don't tip the person at a ticket booth any where else.
