My kids are home with Grandma watching them. Grandma is better at spoiling them than a lame trip to Vegas:thumbsup:

Other peoples kids are running around...screaming and crying to go to bed cause it's 2am. Sticking their fingers into the buffet food...bumping into me causing me to spill my drink because they think running away from mommy is a fun game to play....running around the pool screaming their little heads off asking me if they can have some of my french fries...mom shows up 5 minutes later saying "sorry tee-hee little johnny is soooo cute".

    Oh...sorry, I think I got off track.

    Poorly-parented children are a problem.

Well-behaved children are not a problem.

Well-behaved children allowed to be in inappropriate-for-kids settings are a problem.

Children, per se, are not a problem. Bad parenting is.

If we had kids we'd take them to Vegas once or twice, do all the kid-cool stuff there is to do in the area, stay off-Strip at the JW Marriott or the Renaissance or Red Rock Resort, and then be done with it.

If a kid has seen Vegas more times than Zion or Banff or the redwoods, and he/she is not there to see granny or the cousins, then something is wrong.

My parents typically watch our kids.

As for kids in Vegas, mine won't set foot inside the Vegas city limits until they're old enough and responsible enough to pay for it themselves. Some of these people who bring impressionable kids to Vegas and let them run around in places they shouldn't be have lost their minds, IMO.

If I had children I would leave them with family. I would not bring with.

My last visit to Vegas we saw a family of four, parents and two boys taking a photo with the chicken girls (the ones who wear bras and feathers). Each boy was holding up one girls thigh and I was like :vomit: and the parents were like :evillaugh "They're so cute".

    NOT APPROPRIATE!!!!

We have 2 cats. The neighbour lady comes in at least once a day to feed them, do the litter and generally sit with them a few minutes. Max (5 years old) has a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Kitty personality, depending on his mood he'll sit in her lap and love her up or run and hide or hiss and swipe at her. Jack (1 year old) who barely tolerates me and loves my husband will be very sweet, cute and affectionate with her. Although Jack was sick recently and he was glued to me the entire time he was sick, went right back to tolerating me afterwards. Cats are jerks.
